Today I spent most of my time searching for the right facial appeal. After a lot of tweaking, I finally arrived at this version—but when I hide the mask mesh, his eyes look terrified, lol. Next, I’ll be working on his assets like the hat, boots, gloves, etc. Once I get to the fine-tuning stage, I’ll revisit his face shape and eye appeal. It’s frustrating that I still can’t get the eyes to look just right!

It's actually ok right now, i can leave it as is. It's just my "perfectionism" pushing me to fix it. I want it to look good without the mask haha

I see what you mean, but can't quite place my finger on what to tweak... maybe the upper, inner portion of they eye being hidden or framed by the mask is what curbs the frightened look a bit is a place to start? Not sure, but either way, have fun in the process of playing around with it!
