Home objective? Ah. You mean the Loota campsite.

I usually keep a 5-man unit of infiltrators in my list but if my opponent doesn't have deepstrike or reserves, I usually forward deploy them in the midfield and use a 5-man assault intercessor squad for backfield instead.

I will have to try a Ballistus Dread or Phobos Librarian with Eliminators when I start playing.

I like to use a unit of 2 allarus custodians. Not very cost effective but hilarious to watch people try and remove.

For my Dark Angels, I like parking a Whirlwind on the home objective as they can direct fire anywhere and if the enemy has deep strike capability then I typically will add some Heavy Intercessors to protect the Whirlwind

I'm always torn about moving my Kabalite Warriors off my home objective. Sticky, yes. Squishy? Also yes. Sad I don't have the boats to protect them, either.

For my TSons I do five rubrics and a sorcerer for the baby Lone Op but I always feel like that's a lot of points (nearly 200) to hold the home objective. I usually win or lose games despite them.

Heavy Intercessors are my jam, tanky chunky marines with heavy bolt rifles and even more tanky if on an objective.
Thomas Boni
Eliminators with a phobos librarian is my go to.
