Only thing id add to this is a unit must remain in coherency at the end of ANY move. So your opponent must make sure the unit is in coherency all through a turn before getting to the Coherency Check at the end of Morale. Worth noting in case someone tries to Pile In in such a way that they take models out of coherency so that they can get some kind of benefit from the the ones they remove (taking them out of combat as you mentioned being one)

Honestly, as long as you keep squads in 2 rows, this will rarely, if ever be an issue
