That’s why you would only move into charge position after a unit has moved. It requires a higher level of tactics and prevents alpha strikes.

It would make a lot of armies unplayable. Could you imagine moving a unit of harlequins up into a good charge position, only for your opponent to move next and scoot the unit out of the way, leaving your unit high and dry facing a gunline?

I am VERY interested in alternating activation. It was done in Star Wars Legion and I thought it was a fascinating implementation.

Yeah, certainly going to be keeping the focus on tactics, particularly with the changes for 9th. It'll just be a bit easier to make intelligent discussion for tactics after 9th is actually out. Will certainly be covering 9th news and Pariah still :)

Although I think some of these are interesting, and maybe more of a fun entry - they go against the idea of getting the most out of your minis. Not saying don't do some colorful videos, maybe even perhaps make it day of the week. Silly Sunday, etc.
