Thousands of years ago, the Priest Kings of the lizardfolk performed a remarkable feat: they transported their entire civilization from a distant land through magical portals to save them from a great threat. While their people were saved, the cities themselves became tainted by a lingering, potent darkness. The Priest Kings forbade anyone from entering, sacrificing their own lives to keep the evil contained. Today, Xal’Zarica remains a place of haunting ruins, lost knowledge, and untold secrets waiting for brave explorers.
This release also includes a regional map of Thalen Vor, the southeastern reaches of the Fallen Kingdom, including the Swamp of Claws. Thalen Vor is home to the wood elves and will see even more expansion in future releases, giving you the perfect foundation for adventures in this lush, mysterious land.
