Ravenfall is the capital of the principality of Heranod and seat of The Acedia bloodline of vampires. Its advantageous position at the confluence of the river Corvus and Valroka has led not only to its long term prosperity but the name of the city itself. The fate of those who break the law in Ravenfall is almost always a short drop and sudden stop. The Wailing tower with its mournful bell, the last thing they will see and hear.
The grisly remains of the convicted stand as a reminder to the living not to anger the Masters.
