Dargurn - The Fortress of Shadow
🕑 Added 2020-12-28 17:46:38 +0000 UTCOf all the fell places in the world, the fortress of shadow is perhaps the most malign. Carved into the very bedrock of the Ashen Hills, this redoubt of evil extends deep beneath the earth, where all foul things dwell.
Constructed in the days of strife before The Return, it was once the seat of Korezβck, demon prince of the Fourth Circle. Though abandoned when its master was forced to depart this plane long ago, his taint has remained upon Dargurn and shadow once again reaches out from behind its black gates.
We cannot stand idle and allow the fortress to once again foster the seed of evil. It is therefore, with heavy heart, that I must ask a great task of you. Your company must set forth to the Ashen Hills at once and investigate the dark fortress. Find out what dwells there now and what can be done to stop its advance.
I do not ask this quest of you lightly but the King will not listen and the nobles fight amongst themselves. They will do nothing, so we must act instead.

Hi guys!
I hope you all had a good Christmas and are fully ready for 2020 to be over!
This is the last map I shall release for our theme of the Simarillon. This two level dungeon map was inspired by Morgoth's fortress of Angband from the 1st Age.
Little about the specifics of Angband are described however what I could find has been included in this map, such as; a labyrinth of stairs, a great wall, a throne room and a prison.
