Hey, it's in part because your lore and fight scenes are so good. More information = more immediate lore and a good weapon = more potential bad assery in combat later. Definitely picked gold as my second sometimes though.

You have to ask Mist for the weapon. Have the coin, gauntlet or make a deal with Cynthia in Chapter One and you can pick one or more rewards

New bug report for you! I was able to talk my way out of a fight with Cynthia like you said and everyone got out unscathed. However, when Hadrian when to comfort Romanus, it describes him limping over to her. Not sure if this is a bug or not, but I hope it helps!

I took the blade. Firmly believes that the extra combat stat is going to aid me later, extra plot around the blade will also be interesting. Initially I want to take information, but I need to reveal too much about myself to get some really "interesting" stuff and it was not worth it in my opinion. Also the coin could also serve a purpose in the future so I won't spend it here.

I appreciate the _option_ of gold being included, because obviously Mist would put that on the table and obviously a lot of people would take it--I like being able to push the button that says "No, my Romanus would see the option of wealth and decide this other thing is more important,"

Hubris Call everytime. Information is definitely useful but I have a sneaking suspicion that we have a lot more scraps in our future and a newer and better weapon is always handy

Information always and forever Imo it's the most valuable option and you get to learn a lil about characters which can prove advantageous later on

I usually get Hubris Call followed closely by the info. Gold might be cool but getting the maps is proving dangerous and gold can’t stop a blade. If my Romanus could take the gold and just…leave. Like stop being a mercenary. Oh, he’d do it in a heartbeat But we all know Romanus isn’t a mercenary for the money
