It's honestly so fun to see me mentioning little choices and decisions that Romanus could have made in Book One. Of course, the big choices I knew would be mentioned, but as I wrote the first draft, I found myself referencing several events that may seem minor. And some of them are! But keeping track of them, seeing them mentioned or characters talking about them is what makes a world seem alive.
I had to go back to Book One and track a variable to whether Hadrian helped you put Aurelius' cross around your neck or not. I also had to set up a new variable as to whether you tried to calm Hadrian and Alessa before Rafael's interrogation or if you didn't approach them. Whether you asked Vaughn to keep the servants away from your room or not...
All so fun! Makes coding more complicated, but I think it enriches the game.

Legitimately so thrilled to dive back in to this world that I'm replaying Book 1 right now. Your writing is so good it's like sinking into a wark bath - comforting and a little thrill both. Looking forward to the future as always β€

I'm excited! It'll probably be like reliving book 1 when doing these as a reader :)
