Such a modest count for the day, but I'm so terribly happy because I finished the scene!!!!!! πππ It had so many variations, I had a whole notebook page of choices and text that I needed to go back and fill in. But I can throw that page into the bin too. So long, dearest, and thanks for all the fish.
That means I only have two more scenes to write before finishing chapter one. After that, I'll deep edit the prologue and add my testers' suggestions β and then it'll be ready to be shared π.
I've decided that I want to publish the chapters one by one on Patreon since they will all be massive β for context, just Hadrian's part alone in chapter one is about 50k words.
But I'm getting ahead of myself! Now that I'm back on my writing routine, I'm itching to get ahead. For now, however, the goal for next week is to finish the second to last scene of the chapter.
Other than that, I also finished this month's mature story. It's been certainly a way to familiarize myself with more... risquΓ© writing since I'm still very new (and not confident) to it. π I take it as good practice for when I get to the interactive intimate scenes of the book. Now those will be a challenge!
Anyway, that is all I have to share. Thank you, as always, for stopping and sharing a bit of your time with me. The sun is slowly merging into the horizon, the afternoon gently melting into evening. The grass and dams all beg for rain, but so far, nature denies it. I hope it doesn't last for long β unlike in fictional Tarragona, we really can't afford another dry autumn and winter.

Congrats on all of the progress on Chapter One! I am so delighted and excited to see things like this - sometimes just completing one scene is a huge undertaking! And I second what V said, you work so hard. One can only admire your dedication! It is also good to hear that you are well, as always β€

Any progress is good progress!! Tysm for taking your time and working so hard on your book! It means a lot to us as readers knowing that the author really puts their all into their writing. And it shows. Also 50k words for Hadrian in just one chapter? Wow that's a lot :o but I'm not complaining Hadrian is my favorite adorable and bashful ex templar. But how is it possible for one person to be adorable while still being so sexy at the same time? As for writing risque scenes, I will admit they're a challenge. I've written some suggestive content but it was just fan fic. I don't think I did very well with it π. Take care Ana! Get plenty of rest and continue being an amazing you.
