Different sides of the same prism
🕑 Added 2022-10-06 16:58:28 +0000 UTCMe after writing all the Relationship Variations:
Tiring, but it feels so good when I have them all filled up! I really want to take the time to make the Rose as interactive with your past choices and relationships as possible. I want to try and make the characters feel like real people β with working memories and feelings and their own ways to express them.
I want Hadrian to feel different depending on if you killed Garrett or not. If you have a high friendship or a low score. And even inside his romance, there are differences if you've encouraged him to be more confident with you or not. If you supported him in his crisis of faith or made matter worse. If you kissed him or not...
Alessa is the same β did you say you trusted her at the inn? Did you try to calm her before meeting Rafael? Did you defend her when he insulted her? Did she threaten you at the tombs, and if so, did you threaten her back? Did you kiss her, or did you break any possible romantic connection with her?
Lance, Raf, Vallen, Billy, the captain of the guard, all of them will recall how and in what manner you talked with them. Like an individual side of the same prism, you'll be able to know different facets of a character depending on where you stand with them β and I've surprised myself with some of the dialogues on the different branches!
Hopefully, all the work is worth it, and you can enjoy some sweet (or not-so-sweet) moments with your lover/friend/bitter rival π.

Oh, she'll definitely give him a few more heart attacks, then π The poor man won't know what hit him.

Honestly, you've done such a great job with each and every character that you've managed to get me attached to 'em all, at least those that I've grown close to. You can rest assured that you are doing an absolutely remarkable job here. For example, upon the rooftop, you played my heart-strings to make a melody so beautiful, but also holding a small hint of sorrow, a hint so profound that it caused a tear to fall. Mind you, I greatly appreciate these moments, as few things have truly managed to make my heart sing, and fewer still could forge memories unforgettable, as you've done. I am proud to be a part of your community here. And prouder still to say I am supporting you. Continue to do what you love, and I promise I'll continue to support whatever it is you do. You've got a talent, and my, you're not squandering it, just remember that.

My MC Lexi is romancing Hadrian. And she gets upto some crazy antics. She joined the fighting ring and fell off the wall π she gives Hadrian a mini heart attack about everyday because of her antics. She's crazy curious about everything which does seem to land her into trouble a lot. So I can't wait to see what she can get upto in the next book. And hopefully still giving Hadrian a little more heart attacks hehe
