Chapter 34: Fasting Method
🕑 Added 2025-04-19 08:40:46 +0000 UTC“It’s nothing, actually.”
“Clothing and shelter have been solved.”
“Barefoot shoes are also part of the journey. From now on, you cannot take any means of transportation and can only walk. Otherwise, the barefoot shoes will crush your feet, and then they will heal and crush them again.”
The two nodded silently.
Just think of it as exercise, simple.
“Finally, it’s time to eat.”
Neither of them cared about this, as they were not as greedy as Ma Hongjun.
At most, you can just eat vegetarian food.
“Except for drinking water, you can’t eat anything else. Use soul power to replace the needs of the body and explore the mysteries of the flesh.”
Oscar: (ΩДΩ)
Dai Mubai: (￣∠￣)
Boss! Are you listening to what you are saying?
“If I don’t eat, won’t I starve to death?” Oscar said incomprehensibly, “Soul power can replace food? Let me condense sausages?”
Diyi Hong shook his head and handed over two booklets.
This is the “recipe” for body training in the Vajra Zen of Tibetan Buddhism.
There are no ingredients in it.
Only by using soul power in different ways can different organs be supplied with the nutrients they need to function normally.
This can achieve the effect of fasting.
The advantage is that if you stop eating, you won’t take in impurities, and your body will become increasingly pure and spotless, which is beneficial regardless of whether you are training your body or practicing martial arts.
The downside is that
Soul power cannot resist hunger.
Even because all organs are functioning normally and the stomach is empty, it will send eating signals to the brain more urgently.
Simple translation means – you will be very hungry.
The kind of hunger that makes a starving ghost’s eyes turn green.
Don’t underestimate hunger.
In times of famine, people at the bottom of society would even trade their children for food or cook with bones because of hunger.
It can make people break the bottom line of human nature, which shows how terrifying it is.
The two of them didn’t know the consequences yet and looked quite surprised.
“Soul power actually has this effect?”
Dai Mubai sighed:
“The body eats to absorb nutrients? Using soul power to supply nutrients to organs, wonderful! Wonderful!”
“Every soul master should master this method!”
First of all, there is a place to live in Bengbu.
The soul masters collectively transformed into starving ghosts?
I don’t dare to imagine that scene at all!
“I have a question.” Oscar raised his hand and said, “This method of fasting cannot be mastered in the short term, so what should we do when we are hungry?”
Bingo!
This is the key question.
Normally speaking, it means going hungry for two days and eating one meal every day to maintain the most basic needs.Holding on until you learn the method of fasting.
But.
The Nine-Colored Goddess said she had a better idea.
Diyi Hong took out two jars and handed them over.
The two took it and opened it, and saw a bunch of needle-like plants, which looked like mushrooms? Or grass?
There were not many, and they ate them all in one meal.
He looked at Diyi Hong in confusion. What was he doing?
“This is a weed similar to the blue silver grass in the Divine Realm. There are so many of them that they don’t have a name.”
The first explanation surprised the two of them,
And then they were ecstatic!
“Even the weeds in the Divine Realm must have extraordinary effects, right?” Dai Mubai asked impatiently.
“It has special effects.”
“It does not contain any energy. Its only effect is that it is extremely tough. Even gods would have difficulty chewing it or digesting it.”
“We call this thing see you tomorrow.”
“Eat it and see you tomorrow.”
At first, the two of them didn’t understand. Why explain this?
Oscar is really smart, he can think of any possibility!
How can I see you tomorrow if I eat it? It is so tough that even gods can’t bite it and digest it?
Could it be...
“Diyi” Oscar trembled and said, “Don’t tell me, this thing can come out intact after being eaten? From… below?”
Dai Mubai was puzzled.
What does it have to do with their fasting whether it comes out complete or not?
Until…
“That’s right.” Diyi Hong nodded and said, “Before you succeed in fasting, you can and can only eat the weeds in the divine realm in your hand. Just call them Flammulina velutipes.”
Oscar’s face turned pale instantly!
It’s over!
This is the most disgusting possibility!
[“Nine Colors Goddess”: Oscar is smart, but what’s the use? He is still controlled by me! ]
[“Nine-Colored Goddess”: When I first came to the Divine Realm, we agreed to celebrate our anniversary once a year. At first, we used sweet words to talk, but later, he just gave a bunch of this weed every year? ]
[“Nine-Colored Goddess”: I’ll let you eat enough!!!]
The design inspiration comes from the God of Cookery.
It’s not unfair.
“Oscar, why do you look like that?” Dai Mubai asked curiously, “Just eat grass, there’s no need to look so bad, right?”
Oscar closed his eyes in despair.
Send out a final desperate inquiry –
“Diyi, before we mastered the practice method, can we only have this mushrooms?”
Diyi Hong nodded silently.
Oscar didn’t see it. But if you didn’t hear a denial, you already had an answer. Suddenly his whole body turned gray and he fell into deep despair.
Damn it!
This technique not only hurts the body, but also pollutes the mind?
Dai Mubai couldn’t help but frown. It’s just a meal?
But combined with what I just said, his eyes suddenly widened!
Wait!
Just a meal?
“Fuck!” Dai Mubai said in disbelief: “This enoki mushroom can be pulled out intact, so I can eat it again?!”
As a former prince, when had Dai Mubai ever experienced such “hardship”?
The thought of “see you tomorrow” made him retch uncontrollably.
Oscar also felt a lump in his throat, which was a little unbearable.
Even Diyi Hong couldn’t help but cover my face.
“Nine-Colored Goddess, this is too shameless, isn’t it?”
[“Nine-Colored Goddess”: Humph! This weed can also strengthen the internal organs of mortals! ]
[“Phoenix God”: That doesn’t mean you have to eat and eat in a cycle, right? ]
[“God of Speed”: You can even eat something that’s millions of years old, but you can’t eat this? ]
The Phoenix God was embarrassed. It’s disgusting to say. Among the goddesses who come to see him, the age is generally over a million years old, and there are ancient goddesses who are tens of millions of years old.
This is the disadvantage of eternal youth!
The other gods also remained silent.
Without deep-seated hatred, it is impossible to understand this behavior.
[“Nine-Colored Goddess”: Do you think I’m too cruel? Then change your target to Tang San and give it a try.]
Hmm?
[“God of Emotions”: The amount is still too much! You should give only one tenth! Eat now and poop now!!!]
No, no!
If they continue discussing this, who knows what new torture they might come up with.
The problem is that, even Diyi Hong, as the executor, can’t stand it!
Diyi Hong stuffed all his things into the space ring.
“Anyway, you guys should work hard.”
“During this period, I will not continue with new tests. You should hurry up and practice the method of fasting.”
Oscar and Dai Mubai looked unhappy and kept silent.
“That’s it.” Diyi Hong walked away: “Mubai, you can move in with us so we can take care of each other.”
Dai Mubai nodded silently.
His current condition is not suitable for a “long journey”.
Diyi Hong ignored the protest from the live broadcast room and walked out of the dormitory quickly.
He breathed a sigh of relief. He saw the Nine-Colored Goddess swiping the screen like crazy.
[User “Nine Colors Goddess” sent a gift: “God-given Soul Ring” x 1]
[And a note: I just saw it, why did you withdraw? ]
【. “God-given Soul Ring” × 1】
[And PS: Host, please go back and continue! ]
【. “God-given Soul Ring” × 1】
[P.S.: The exercises haven’t even officially started yet! ]
Real strength to sweep the screen.
Diyi Hong was helpless.
It can be said that I have experienced the “helplessness” of those hosts in my previous life. The demands of the financial sponsor must be met.
But what to do if the request is too much?
