Heaven Dou City.
Twenty kilometers away from the city gate, there is a big mountain with many buildings and facilities, including a majestic teaching building, lush forests behind the mountain, and a rippling lake at the foot of the mountain.
Everything in the mountains is beautiful, especially when the sun sets and the sky is filled with sunset glow. Against the backdrop of the red glow in the west, whether it is the lake at the foot of the mountain, the lush forest, or the mountains as high as a thousand meters, they all give people a feeling of paradise.
The Heaven Dou Royal Academy was built around this mountain. It is the largest academy for advanced soul masters in the Heaven Dou Empire. All previous presidents of the academy were emperors of the Heaven Dou Empire.
At this moment, at the gate of Heaven Dou Royal Academy.
There is a lot of traffic and people.
Today is the day for registration for the new semester at Heaven Dou Royal Academy, so the academy is unusually lively inside and outside.
The people coming and going were all elegant people dressed in luxurious clothes, accompanied by three or two attendants, and holding their children to register here.
There are two conditions for Heaven Dou Royal Academy to recruit students.
The first condition is that the student must have a noble title.
The second condition is that if one has an extraordinary or special martial spirit talent, even a commoner can join with the title of excellent student.
Excellent student does not mean particularly outstanding, but special preferential treatment. If a senior leader of the academy takes a fancy to a civilian’s martial spirit talent, he will issue a certificate of excellent student to this civilian.
Just five meters away from the entrance of the college, there are two tables. Two teachers are sitting at the tables, registering the students who come to register.
There were two long queues. Those queuing up to register were all children of aristocrats. They were dressed gorgeously, and their conversation and laughter revealed the aristocratic air and etiquette.
However, there was a black-haired young man who did not fit in with the other nobles. He was dressed in simple blue clothes and stood quietly in the middle of the two teams with his hands in his pockets, looking very heroic.
After staring at the plaque with six large characters “Heaven Dou Royal Academy” at the entrance of the academy for a few seconds, a faint smile appeared on the handsome face of the black-haired young man.
“Finally found it. This is the Heaven Dou Royal Academy. Just like the original book described, the academy is built in the mountains. I’m sure there will be a lot of interesting things happening in this academy, right?”
As he was thinking, the black-haired young man’s eyes had already moved away from the plaque at the door and looked around. The lively atmosphere and the scene of students reporting to school made him recall the memories when he first entered university.
How could the young man have imagined that a transmigration would happen just a few months ago, when his college life had just begun.
Suddenly, I was missing from school, and I didn’t know what kind of commotion it would cause, whether there would be any big news, and whether my parents would be sad because of my disappearance?
Alas.
Lu Buliang sighed dejectedly. He had long thought of transmigration, but when the sudden transmigration happened to him, it was still a little hard to accept.
After all, if I came to a new world, it would be equivalent to my original self disappearing. The most heartbroken people would be my family, right?
With another sigh, Lu Buliang put away the worry on his face. Three months ago, he transmigrated to Douluo Continent. He had tried various methods, but he could not find a way to return to Earth.
He originally came to Douluo Continent with a mobile phone, which turned into a magical system that could speak human language. However, the system suddenly malfunctioned and exploded just after sending out the novice gift package.
Without the system turned into a mobile phone, it is equivalent to completely cutting off contact with Earth. If you want to go back, unless you have the ability to travel through dimensional space at will, all your worries and efforts will be in vain.
Instead of thinking about how to return to Earth every day, it is better to make the best of it and become a soul master in this world, practice hard, and maybe become a god in the future, and experience the joy of treating a world as your own backyard.
Be familiar with the original plot and the newbie gift package given by the system.
With these two conditions, it is not a pipe dream for Lu Buliang to cultivate to the realm of god. What he needs is enough time to develop.
When he came to Douluo Continent, not only he retained his souls, but also his original body. Lu Buliang is now eighteen years old. Regardless of his age or the energy contained in his body, it is impossible for him to awaken the power of the Douluo world.
Fortunately, before the system malfunctioned and exploded, it gave him a novice gift package, which contained a soul master package of a random level.
After using it, Lu Buliang opened a level 30 Soul Master package, which included a level 30 soul power pack, three soul rings, and a martial soul awakening card.
After using the Martial Soul Awakening Card, no awesome Martial Soul was awakened, because this item can only awaken a certain part of the body to become one’s own Martial Soul.
To Lu Buliang’s regret, the part of his body awakened by the spirit awakening card was not a stick, but his own shadow. Otherwise, he would have stabbed through Douluo in the name of Stick Douluo.
After awakening his own shadow to become a martial spirit, Lu Buliang used the level 30 soul power pack and three soul rings from the novice gift pack to be promoted to a level 35 soul master within one day.
The three spirit rings are like God-given spirit rings. After being absorbed, they will condense a spirit ring skill and spirit ring age that best suits the spirit master.
Obtaining martial souls, spirit rings, and soul power is equivalent to the birth of the power system of the Douluo World. The whole body is nourished by soul power, and physical strength becomes even better under the transformation of spirit rings and martial souls.
Taking advantage of a sudden inspiration, Lu Buliang hid in the outer area of the Star Dou Great Forest and practiced for three months.
At the beginning, he had no fighting skills and was not proficient in spirit ring skills and martial spirit. Whenever he encountered a low-level spirit beast, he would use some stupid stance to scare the spirit beast, but was chased by the spirit beast as a result.
Fortunately, God rewards those who work hard.
With the understanding of shadow abilities from various film and television works and novels he had watched on Earth, and three months of adaptation, Lu Buliang is now very proficient in Shadow Martial Soul. He has a thorough understanding of the soul skills granted by the three soul rings, and has a clear understanding of the advantages and disadvantages of Shadow Martial Soul.
First of all, the advantages of Shadow Martial Spirit are very obvious and have unlimited possibilities.
As long as there is light, any object can have a shadow. By controlling, attacking, or assisting the object’s shadow, it can affect any object. This is the infinite possibility of the shadow martial soul. It can be cultivated towards the control system, auxiliary system, strong attack system, or any other development direction of a soul master.
After practicing to a higher level, the shadow martial soul can even use shadows to create millions of shadow puppets, forming an army of one person, and creating a black shadow army.
The strength of the shadow martial spirit is also obvious, that is light.
Generally speaking, the stronger the light, the stronger the shadow.
Without the existence of light, shadows will not be born.
In the fantasy world, shadows belong to darkness, but they are not the same as darkness. They are more like superiors and subordinates. Under the effect of soul skills that block all light and leave only darkness, the shadow martial spirit will be suppressed by darkness and become a useless martial spirit that cannot be used.
Of course, darkness is the biggest shadow. If the shadow martial spirit can evolve into a dark attribute, this shortcoming will be solved.
While becoming proficient in the use of the shadow martial spirit, Lu Buliang has also been paying attention to the current plot direction. There are still more than three years to go before the Continental Advanced Soul Master Elite Competition mentioned in the original novel.
In other words, Tang San is only about eleven years old and has not yet graduated from Nuoding College, so the opportunity to obtain the immortal grass is still there.
As a soul master grows older, his training will become relatively slow. Traveling to the Douluo Continent with the physical state of an eighteen-year-old means that Lu Buliang started training at the age of eighteen, while other soul masters started training at the age of six, with a full twelve-year training time gap between the two.
No matter compared with any genius mentioned in the original work, such talent is extremely poor.
If you can get the help of the immortal grass, not only will your body be greatly transformed, but your cultivation speed will also be improved.
This way, one can make up for the twelve years of training time gap, and taking the magical herb will bring countless benefits in the future.
Therefore, if conditions permit, Lu Buliang does not want to give up the opportunity to obtain the magic grass to others.
The reason he came to Heaven Dou Royal Academy was to prepare for the immortal grass.
The original novel mentioned that the magic grass grows in the Yin-Yang Eyes of Ice and Fire, and the Yin-Yang Eyes of Ice and Fire are in Dugu Bo’s lair, which is somewhere in the Sunset Forest.
With his current fame and strength, it is impossible for Lu Buliang to meet Dugu Bo with his own abilities, and naturally he has no way to have a face-to-face transaction with Dugu Bo.
It was impossible for him to rashly enter the Sunset Forest and be besieged by a group of soul beasts, and it was even more impossible for him to take the risk of the life-threatening Yin-Yang Eye of Ice and Fire without any preparation.
Lu Buliang’s idea is to first build a good relationship with Dugu Bo’s granddaughter Dugu Yan. After he has a certain understanding of things like Sunset Forest and poison, he will use his relationship with Dugu Yan to get close to Dugu Bo. In this way, the success rate and safety of obtaining the magic grass will be greatly improved.
Dugu Yan is a genius of Heaven Dou Royal Academy. If you want to get in touch with her, the best way is of course to join Heaven Dou Royal Academy and become her teammate.
