Chapter 55: Riot on the Spirit Ascension Platform
🕑 Added 2025-03-11 01:54:51 +0000 UTC“You need to hold out in the Spirit Ascension Platform for one hour to pass the final exam. However, I need to remind you that this time you will be entering a rioting Spirit Ascension Platform.”
Xie Xie asked in surprise: “Teacher, what does the riot of the Spirit Ascension Platform mean?” He had never heard of this term before, but it sounded like a special state of the Spirit Ascension Platform.
Nan Fusheng and the other four also looked at Wu Zhangkong in surprise. The Spirit Ascension Platform played a huge role in improving their actual combat capabilities. A rioting Spirit Ascension Platform?
Wu Zhangkong said: “The Spirit Ascension Platform has two riot periods every year. Initially, it was caused by the internal instability of the energy used to build the Spirit Ascension Platform. Later, with the advancement of technology, the riot period of the Spirit Ascension Platform was controlled and became a special property.
During the riot period, the soul beasts inside the Spirit Ascension Platform will become particularly active and their numbers will increase. The danger will increase greatly. Every time the riot period begins, the Eighteen Pillars will have 300 places to enter.
This time, you can get six of the three hundred places. For this, the academy spent a lot of money to convince the East Sea Spirit Pagoda. You must cherish this opportunity. “
“During the riot period, you can enter the Spirit Ascension Platform as a team, but no more than seven people. The six of you are just enough, and you will be teleported together after entering. This is a test of your teamwork.
Remember, you may not only encounter soul beasts, but also other soul masters who have entered. They are equally dangerous to you. Because, after a soul beast in the riot period is hunted, the spiritual power absorption time generated will be 100 times longer, that is, it takes 100 seconds for you to kill a soul beast and absorb its spiritual power.
Then, if you leave the Spirit Ascension Platform during this process, the remaining spiritual power will be sucked away by the nearest soul master. This is a special situation that will only occur during the Spirit Ascension Platform riot period. “
Zhang Yangzi said: “In other words, if others can steal our soul beast’s spiritual power, we can also steal others’?”
Wu Zhangkong said calmly: “If you have confidence, you can of course rob others, but I need to remind you that the upper limit of the primary soul ascending platform is the peak of the third ring. And to enter the soul ascending platform during the riot period, it takes a lot of effort, so many soul masters only take a gamble when they reach the peak of the third ring to see if they can kill more soul beasts to upgrade their souls. Therefore, the opponents you are about to face will be very strong.”
Tang Wulin said: “Teacher, don’t worry, we will rely on the strength of the group!”
Zhang Yangzi’s relationship with everyone had improved a long time ago. After all, they were all young and how could they bear grudges? Especially when Tang Wulin and Wang Jinxi’s relationship was getting closer and closer.
It was no secret In Class 0 that Wang Jinxi and Tang Wulin were training together. With Tang Wulin’s assistance, Wang Jinxi’s spirit power increased by two levels in three months, reaching level 23, and Zhang Yangzi’s was level 22.
“In three days, you will enter the Spirit Ascension Platform. These three days are your holiday, so you can relax. And be prepared.”
Holidays? Since entering the zero shift, there has never been any extra holidays except for the regular one-day holiday per week.
This is a three-day holiday! Xie Xie and Zhang Yangzi were the first to cheer.
Nan Fusheng also showed a thoughtful look on his face. Three days should be enough time for him to adapt to the new soul and soul skills.
…
After school, everyone walked towards the dormitory together.
“Wulin, Fusheng, what are you two going to do in the next three days? Why don’t we go out and have some fun?” Xie Xie said with a chuckle.
“Go play? Play what?” Zhang Yangzi leaned over.
Xie Xie rolled his eyes, “I didn’t tell you.”
Zhang Yangzi laughed, “I’ll treat you, okay? Take me along.”
Xie Xie said, “That’s still worth considering. Oh, by the way, I suddenly remembered something. Teacher Wu said today that our final exam will have two projects, but this Spiritual Ascension Platform only has one! What will the other project be? Can you guess it?”
Everyone thought about it and shook their heads in confusion.
Wang Jinxi smiled bitterly and said, “The Riot Spiritual Ascension Platform is a great opportunity for us to improve, but it seems a little too early. I’ve heard before that the competition for the Riot Spiritual Ascension Platform was very fierce. At that time, there was no human relationship. After all, there are not many opportunities for soul evolution.”
Nan Fusheng said, “We have so many opportunities to enter the Spirit Ascension Platform now. The academy has paid a huge price for our advancement. I think it is to allow us to pass the Spirit Ascension Platform and evolve our souls to a thousand years before graduating from the junior department. Have you ever calculated your own soul cultivation?”
After hearing what he said, the other five people stopped at the same time.
Soul evolved to a thousand years? What does that mean?
A thousand-year soul, a thousand-year soul ring, and it’s the first one!
If the first soul is a thousand years old, it can provide three soul skills, which can save mental energy to a great extent. In the future, if you merge with another thousand-year soul, you can at least practice to the sixth ring without worrying about running out of soul rings.
One of the biggest problems that restricts soul masters from developing to a higher level is the number of souls. There is a sharp contrast between human mental power and the ability to bear souls.
If the spiritual power is not cultivated enough, the fusion of souls will inevitably fail. This is why Wu Zhangkong attaches great importance to their spiritual power.
“It seems that the college really has this intention?” Zhang Yangzi swallowed his saliva. He was very eager to become powerful, and his personality was actually the kind of person who liked to show off in front of others. Otherwise, when he first met Nan Fusheng and the others in the promotion match, he would not have been so arrogant as to not take the first step.
Xie Xie said: “It’s very possible. If that’s the case, that would be great. We really need to cherish every opportunity to ascend to the Spirit Ascension Platform.”
Nan Fusheng said: “I won’t go to play, I have to go get the second soul in the next few days.”
As soon as these words came out, the other five people looked at him in surprise. Xie Xie couldn’t help but said directly, “Since you know that the academy intends to let us evolve our souls to a thousand-year cultivation level before graduating from the junior department.
Why don’t you evolve your first soul to the thousand-year level first? With your current soul’s hundred-year cultivation, I can also provide you with two soul rings.”
With Nanfu’s spiritual power, he can carry two yellow souls or one purple soul.
If he really chooses to merge another soul, then unless his mental power breaks through to the “Spirit Sea Realm”, neither of his two souls will be able to be upgraded to the thousand-year level.
As a companion who had fought side by side with Nan Fusheng, Xie Xie didn’t want Nan Fusheng to take a detour.
Nan Fusheng smiled bitterly and said, “I also want to upgrade my soul to the thousand-year level! But for some reason, my first soul could not split into another soul ring after it was upgraded to a hundred years.
Maybe it was because it was a defective product. “This was a lie, a tactic Nan Fusheng used to deal with Wu Zhangkong temporarily, and now he was just telling it to Xie Xie and the others.
