May goodie bag WIPs and contents
🕑 Added 2025-07-19 21:40:34 +0000 UTCHi guys! It has been a while since my last post ๐ต I'm currently having a crazy time with early stages of the flat renovations and it sucks all the life and energy out of me ๐ฉ But I'm collecting some photos for you to show you how the process is coming along~
Finally though, after many attempts (which you will see in a moment) I finished the main piece for the May goodie bags ; v ; / It is pretty challenging to prepare a composition that gets all of the gang in a flattering positions and maintains a nice flow of the gestures! But alas! I've made it and I'm so happy to share it with you!
As always, I start with the warm up and thumbnails to get my brain flooded with ideas and possible compositions. On this page you'll also find ideation for the sticker!
The sticker got a partial pixie dust effect on the right side of the blood splatter~
The first attempt of the piece wasn't half bad but there was something that was bugging me in it that I couldn't quite put my finger on, so it ended up to be an unfinished sketch.
Back to thumbnails to maybe figure out a different composition and let off some steam by doodling a different hairstyle vampire Jean~
Another failed attempt, but in this case I really enjoyed the aftermath of the kiss and the eyes of Bryan that are fixed on the bite coming from the side. 
Aaaand another, getting much closer to the end design but still not quite what I wanted. Jean's pose was bugging me since it didn't have enough flow and felt stiff. 
Last page of thumbnails and doodles before the final attempt on the piece. I'm in love with over exaggerated waist to hip ratios ๐ฉ๐ฅ
Voila! The final piece! You can't imagine my relief and happiness once all of the lines started to add up and nothing felt out of place like in the previous few attempts ๐ญ By now I know that some things just need to feel right and there's no reason to continue forward if the piece irks me in the early stages of creation. Can't wait to print these out! 
And now for the final little add-ons! Thank you notes in which you get a little spoiler that Bryan didn't stay a human for too long~
And a sealer for the envelopes!
Since I've been waiting for the shipment of correctly reprinted stickers form April goodie bags, I decided to join both of the goodie bags together. Both April and May will be sent out in the upcoming days ๐ Thank you so much for your patience! I'll be working hard to catch up on the next months and sent out everything as soon as I can!
