Development update!
🕑 Added 2024-04-12 00:35:42 +0000 UTCHello, everyone!
Just wanted to show you some of what I've been doing for the next update. I've decided to not release a small patch with Betty's new scene and instead chose to release a big one during the weekend.
What you can expect:
✤ Content: Firstly, I've done Betty's scene, as was voted and posted here, but I want to add something else too. As I have a lot of things to code, I'm not sure I can finish everything I want before it's time to release the next build. If I can, we'll have another type of scene you need to escape from, entirely separate from enemy grabs!
✤ Character Traits: Before, the character would lose one willpower and gain one corruption for each orgasm, that's not the behaviour I want to have in the game. I want to build something that reflects whats been done to the player, and from next update onwards we'll have descriptive traits that permanently will alter Quinn's mind!
✤ Main Menu: I've designed a simple Main Menu that will feature a game gallery and settings to make the game suit your playing style! As you can see, it currently has a Discord button because...
✤ Discord Server: Yay! I'll finally be able to talk to you guys as much as I want to. I'll be hosting every conversation about the game's future there, including private discussions only open to patrons.
✤ Descriptors, descriptors, descriptors: I've spent some time building a descriptor system that works on almost every object in the game. Stats and spells will now feature hover information, just like items and equipment. If you find a game element that needs to be better explained, please tell me!
✤ Game tweaks: I've tweaked a few things and changed some values. Most notably, before the first wave starts players will have an infinite ammount of time, where you'll get to read and explore all of the game's menus. Morgana will not spam fireballs anymore and chests will drop a larger variety of equipment.
Things I want to add/do in the near future:
✤ Work on Pain and Shame, as they're not implemented properly.
✤ Add character cock info to Lewd Details. (Caged, Flacid, Erect, etc...)
✤ Information Log on top of the screen that stores event information.
✤ Saving throw visuals and more resistance checks. (e.g. Intelligence checks to detect mimic and Agility checks to avoid traps.)
See you on the next public release!
