(Suggestions) SongsTress Quest Episode 6 - Rising Heat
🕑 Added 2025-06-29 17:00:11 +0000 UTCHey, why stop at one? You're a Desire! Moderation is not in your dictionary (unless you're really desperate for a rhyme). You want more. More minions. More followers. More fans. And you know where to find them! Weren't there more contestants just down the hall? You've really got to go show them what they've won!
"Come with me~" You give your pet punk her instructions, and giggle as she eagerly hops to obey, following you out of her dressing room and back out into the corridor. And to your immediate disappointment, you see that one of the rooms you were hoping to recruit in has been left open, the ladies inside having left while you were giving your little solo performance. Damn, it was the room with the trio, the ones who annoyed you for some reason. Rgh, looks like they've escaped for now.
The other door, the one with the tech girls, is still closed, though...
Silent as an empty stage, you creep up and peek in through the keyhole - a time honoured profession at this theatre, one must assume. Inside, you can see... Yes! Score, they're still in there. Looks like they're packing up.
"But yeah, like... Thanks again. I really don't know what I would have done if you hadn't helped me."
"Hey, no problem - not like I have anything better to do after that disaster of an audition! Actually, I was thinking about going and getting some coffee now it's all over, wanna join me maybe?"
D'awh, they're cute. Sure, you can't actually see them above the waist from down here, but hey, cuteness isn't just about looks! Well, not always. And besides, you can fix that kind of thing anyway~
Ngh! Ah, there it is again. That unsettling feeling. Building pressure in your chest. Not too bad yet, not yet, but it's growing. The urge to create your Lair, to stop denying yourself - mm, deep breaths, there will be time for that soon. Focus on the matter at hand firt.
Now, you could burst in, leave your punk at the door so no one can escape, and take your time enjoying their terror, but that'd make you a pretty one-note performer, wouldn't it? Instead, you decide to practice a bit with your powers. You know you can change people with your words - the punk staring at your ass behind you is all the proof one needs of that - but how much can you do with your voice alone? Time to find out.
You take a breath, and lift your mouth just next to the keyhole. "~♫~"
"Hey, do you hear something?"
"Huh. Are they putting on another show already?"
"I guess they... Uh... I guess they must be..."
Hehee. Is that a hint of distraction you hear? A note of desire? "~♫~"
"O-Oh! Ah. H-hah, sorry, didn't mean to, um, brush you there."
"H-hah, it's- it's fine. Heh. It's, um. Did the AC break? 's kinda warm in..."
"Hmm... Huh? Ah, sorry, I was just... staring... Did- did anyone ever tell you you have really pretty eyes...?"
Oooh, this is fun. Music is all about making people feel things, and right now you have excellent control over what you make others feel. You're focusing your voice on projecting one kind of emotion right now: Lust.
And it sounds like it's working. "~♫~"
"... S-so, about that coffee-"
"Oh shut up and kiss me alrea-Mmhm! Mnn~"
There's a thud from the room as the two ladies within it fall to the floor, frantically ripping one another's clothes off as they drown themselves in kisses.
[You've leveled up your Beguiling voice: Rank 1 to Level 2! It can now affect people with a stronger will!]
You let yourself in, leaving your punk at the door with her hand in her pants (she heard you singing too after all~). The redhead and brunette on the floor don't even notice. But they will soon! Hm, if you just keep singing like this, they'll probably end up as generic fans - utterly devoted to you in every way, of course. Or you can try to direct their transformation a bit.
What will you do~?
(You know the drill, folks! Put your suggestions for what SongsTress does next in the comments below, and they'll be voted on on Wednesday!)

A PR manager or a publicist to get the crowd in maybe?

How about some back up dancers? Identical in body and mind-they don’t need any individuality in their new jobs.
