THE CORPORATE LADDER GOES BOTH WAYS 40: MARIA
🕑 Added 2025-10-16 09:04:23 +0000 UTC"I walk as fast… tan rápido como puedo, Señora Gloria," Maryann panted, her words tripping over themselves as she struggled with the English. "These bags are… cómo se dice… heavy! ¡Muy pesadas!"
Gloria stopped dead in her tracks, spinning around with a glare that could cut glass. "¡Oye! You lazy maid, how dare you talk back to me! Apologize at once!"
"Sí, Señora Gloria. I’m sorry, Señora Gloria," Maryann mumbled, her head bowing low. She didn’t dare look up, knowing the smug satisfaction she’d see on Gloria’s face. On her Señora’s face.
"Eso está mejor," Gloria huffed, spinning back around to stride toward the next boutique. "Keep up, or I’ll tell papi how lazy you’ve been and that you talked back to me. I bet he’ll make you sit through another therapy session. Maybe that’s what you want?"
"¡Ay, no! ¡Por favor, Señora Gloria, más terapia no! ¡Seré buena!" Maryann pleaded, shuffling faster to match her Señora’s pace.
Gloria had been shopping all day, flitting from one luxurious boutique to another, her exclusive AMEX card flashing like a badge of superiority at every checkout counter. Chanel, Gucci, Louis Vuitton—she spared no expense on herself.
Enjoyyy! 💋Xoxo💋
