I've decided that I'm going to take an indefinite break from Patreon and my other social media!
I started posting on Twitter 4 years ago, and I never imagined that it would be as successful as it was for so long, I just have to thank everyone who followed me there, and a huge thank you to everyone who continued to support me here on Patreon.
It was because of you that I was able to make a living from this, and I'll never forget that!
But over time, especially in the last 8 months, I wasn't feeling very excited about what I was doing. I started having a lot of trouble thinking of new drawings, and with each passing month it got harder to finish the packs. I tried to take a vacation in November to see if I was just tired, but as soon as the vacation was over the problems came back.
In the last few months, I would spend 4 to 5 days just to have a sketch that I thought was enough to show here.
I started getting recurring headaches every time I sat down to work, and because it took me so long to finish a drawing, I barely left the house for the last few months, and these things only made the initial problem worse.
I want to say here that my decision to stop was something I thought about for several months, and not something I thought about in the heat of the moment. To be honest, I chose to prioritize my mental and physical health over my time here on the internet.
There is a part of me that feels like I am letting you guys down, that I owe you guys all these years of support, so I apologize if you feel that way. But I really want to thank you for all the time you have been helping me.
I ask my patrons to cancel their membership so I don't have to deactivate my Patreon, since there are people who still want to buy packs from previous months in the shop!
I will continue paying for the Dropbox service for two more months. If any of you haven't downloaded a pack yet, I ask that you do so because once I stop paying for the service, the links will probably stop working.
I can't confirm when I will return, or even if I will, but know that I will continue to draw, whether professionally or as a hobby.
I hope you understand.

I've been following for a while now and I have always loved seeing your post and have really enjoyed your work, but if this isn't bringing you joy, then that's okay too. You don't owe us anything, I think most supporters just want to be happy in the work that you do. Thank you for all of your hard work these last few years. I hope to one day see you come back! It’s heartbreaking to see you go after all these years. Your Mirko art, and art in general has always been amazing and has only gotten better with time. :( I know this must’ve not been an easy decision, but your well-being and health come before anything else and that’s top priority. When and if you do return I’m sure we’ll welcome you back with open arms, but if you don’t and just do art as a hobby, we all wish you the best of luck and the best of health in the future! Damn, I'm sorry to hear about what you've been dealing with. I'll always support your work, your takes on Lady Nagant are what brought me here and I'll definitely miss them.
