Wanted a dark cake, made dubious food

True. Long story short, it tastes like I commited a war crime. I feel I should be arrested for having made this.

Rule of thumb I picked up at work; great cooks don’t always make great bakers, and great bakers don’t always make great cooks. There is a lot more chemistry going on with baking, and usually has a much smaller margin of error than cooking typically does, and rarely correctable. Though I will say, this looks pretty decent. How’d it turn out?
