Haven't left my bed for over a week, aside from bathroom and getting up for juice.
The covid was nothing... but the pneumonia it caused is just...
It's been getting very slowly better with the steroids and antibiotics; but the last few days, I've legitimately wanted to die and let it be over already.
The coughing fits send me into tears and cold sweat when they happen. I'm not sure I've ever had pneumonia before; and it's undoubtedly much worse than the intestinal surgery I had 2 years ago.
I'm still going; but good God this is miserable.

I'm with you mate, in spirit of course. It'd be a little weird if I was literally with you... I'm sure that the worst of it has passed, each day you're one step closer to recovery. Keep eating, even if it's hard, and keep on keeping on!
I believe in you. I believe in you making a full recovery, and being able to look back on this in a year as if it were just a dream. It’s awful, but you can get through it. I’ll buy you some art when you’re better. I don’t know what, but I’ll get you something that looks nice. (Or well, if you don’t want that, then I won’t)
