Floramazons (Female only plant ladies)
🕑 Added 2024-07-10 19:39:37 +0000 UTCTldr, an art group I was a more active part of 2 years or so ago is closing shop, so figured I'd try to make some stuff for their final event with the theme of ''space''
This idea I actually had for a few years now, originally it was for some Ben 10 knock off idea, basically some guy with a gem that could store dna and transform the user into alien. For the sake of explaining this, I'll just use Ben 10 instead
So the story idea would be Ben visiting this plant covered planet run by plant ladies. They would be all chill and seductive, eventually getting Ben to lay down in one of their beds, which was actually a big plant pod that would turn Ben into one of them. (The species being female only, couldn't really reproduce otherwise)
But Ben is able to turn back to human, as after he is converted, the omnitri symbol would appear on his chest (or shoulder etc) having come through the new plant matter body. The conversion got turned into a dna sampling, similar to how Ben originally got Benwolf, Benmummy and Benviktor in the OG series.
So, in this current format, it's just going to be about the planet, the pods, the ladies, kinda like one of those speculative biology thingies maybe? But with a hint of TG in there.

Planet: Florauna
Apex Species: Florapods
Main Intelligent Lifeform(s): Floramazons
Biome: Tropical, planet-wide
---
History:
Florauna is lush green, humid, tropical planet filled with jungles. The planet has its entire current ecosystem thanks to the Florapods. A species of plant life similar to carnivorous plants like Earth’s Venus Fly Trap or Pitcher Plants. However instead of digesting their prey, they alter the creatures biological make up and turn them into drones for themselves, akin to bees or ants to a queen.
It started with small wildlife like rodents and insects that were naturally occurring in the planets previous ecosystem. The creatures would be converted into plants, all of their animal cells being swapped for plant cells with chloroplasts, allowing for them to synthesize, removing the need for traditional food.
The converted animals would care for the Florapods, seemingly having their minds rewritten to gain this behavior. The Converted would spread the spores and seeds of their overlords to let more Florapods spread across the planet. Their care leading to the species physical growth, allowing the plant to make prey out of bigger and bigger creatures.
Eventually an intelligent humanoid species would crash land on Florauna. They could not escape the Florapods and their hoards of plant beasts, ending up being converted by the Florapods as well. This would rapidly increase the way the Florapod and the planet would evolve and develop.
The new converted humanoids, dubbed Floramazons, kept their technological knowledge from their past life. Soon they realized the planet was running out of creatures to convert. Almost all animal life had already become plant beasts converted by Florapods.
The Floramazons were able to salvage the communication devices from their crashed spacecraft. With the capability to communicate beyond their own planet, their lack of native animals would no longer be a problem.
Similar to their carnivorous plant cousins, the Floramazons would lure in their prey. They sent out signals from their salvaged communication center, telling long tales of treasure, scientific discoveries or pleasure to attract people to their planet.
Flying plant beasts would throw themselves at the ships foolish enough to enter the planets atmosphere, aiming to crash the craft. In the beginning most of these prey would be dead by the crash, but as long as the body was intact enough and delivered quickly enough to a Florapod. The plant could convert the mass and revive their mental capabilities in a new plant body.
This would be the way the Floramazons increased their numbers until more refined ways could be achieved. Intelligent life from all walks of life would end up being converted. Scientists, engineers and other great minds would eventually start to enter and further develop Floramazon society. Together with their Florapod controllers, the Floramazons were able to build infrastructure through manipulation plants to take the form of buildings. Similar in style to the architecture of the planet the Floramazon that looked over the contruction used to be from.

Current State:
Florauna is one big Venus Fly Trap, luring travellers with signals advertising brothels, casino’s, treasures, wealth and pleasure. Floramazons welcome vistors with open arms and seductive looks, trying to whisper sweet nothings into their ears until they’ve entered one of their facilities and taken a rest in a ‘’bed’’. Which in actuality is the current evolution of Florapods. The tricked prey quickly finds out how sticky the insides of their resting place seems, but always too late. The plant closes itself and similar to a butterfly’s cocoon, it will melt the prey into their base mass and rebuilt them into a Floramazon.
Many hidden junkyards are scattered around the planet. A mix of crashed ships and vehicles from those who came willingly and after conversion had no need to leave with the crafts anymore. Most of these will be missing communication technology, since that is the one bit of machinery the Floramazons are interested in. All other forms of mechanical technology the Floramazons only see as a source of pollution and harm to their Florapods health.
These mountains of overgrown metal are possible treasure troves in the eyes of certain explorers or scavengers. Especially after the story emerged of a high commanding fleet from a wealthy planet crashing on Florauna. However if this is true or another lure by the Floramazons, is unknown as of yet.
The communication centers the Floramazons use are their best kept secret. Some have theorized they are actually underground, the machinery twisted around the roots of the countless flora that covers the planets soil. However it is guarded well, not just by the humanoid Floramazons, their plant beast cousins keep an eye on visitors as well. The flying beasts in the sky, the beings living in the ground, they all share the same goal of protecting the Florapods and converting any non-plant matter into one of them.

Floramazon-A Deeper Look:
Floramazons all share the general body of a slim, generally seductive and attractive female humanoid. Their height can differ immensely based on the prey item used in their creation. Individuals can grow differing sets of flowers across their body. Some can even be seen with flowers not native to Florauna. The current theory being the prey item was carrying some kind of plant matter or spore from a flower originating from their home planet.
Sometimes traits from their previous lives can be spotted, pupils or eye color being the same, tails, an extra set of appendages or other small features. Floramazons keep their knowledge and skills from their past life, however do not remember their past identity or relationships they may have had.
Similar to trees, the Floramazon can life for hundreds to thousands of years old. Not needing to hunt or cultivate crops, only needing water, soil and sunlight, the species can easily survive day to day living. Due to this longevity of individuals the species could survive for a few generations even if there were no prey entering the planet.
However it has been very successful for many years now, they may cause their own end by overpopulating the planet. They can’t share water, soil and sunlight forever…right? I’ve also caught wind of Floramazon scientists talking about trying to artificially grow animal life to replenish the Florapods plant beast army. Appareantly there hasn’t been a naturally occurring animal on this planet for a thousand years now and the plant beasts are starting to wilt in numbers. The ships they lure in only carry intelligent life most of the time, not anything animalistic to be turned in the brute force of the army. However I feel the Florapod would find a way to turn humanoids into plant beasts if it needed to survive.
They are fiendish tricksters, one would not be wrong to compare them to the succubus from Earth mythology. Female shaped monsters, looking to feed on the flesh of sentient life. Researchers who were fully aware of their dangers still fell to their ploy. The entire planet is covered in pheromones emitted by the Florapod Converted creatures, including Floramazons. These pheromones clearly dull the minds of their prey. Making them unaware of any dangers and overly trustful of the Floramazons.
WEAR A HEAVY DUTY GASMASK AND DON’T LET THEM REMOVE IT, NOT EVEN AN INCH. THE PHERAMONES AND SPORES ARE HIGHLY INFECTIOUS!
No male Floramazons have been ever documented, whilst male prey falling to Florapods very much have. It later was confirmed that all plant beast on the planet share this trait of being of the female sex only.
The current theory is that making the prey female, somehow makes conversion easier for the Florapod? Or perhaps helps in making them better caretakers for it? The Florpad may be the male in this dynamic between it and the species it creates. Perhaps during the melting of the prey matter, it redesigns the preys biology to be a more suitable host for the Florapods changes caused by its seed?

I…I think that is everything I was able to find out during my research and stay on this planet. My craft is overgrown, plant beast attacks are common, cracks are started to form and letting pheromones in. My cockpit is the last sealed area and it is starting to be on its last hinges too.
I hijacked one of their signals to sent this report to anyone who comes to close to this planet. Please send my report to the organization, don’t let my death be in vein! Inform my family! Sue this damn company for sending me to this death trap!
DON’T COME TO FLORAUNA UNLESS YOU HAVE AN IDENTITY DEATH WISH OR A FLAMETHROWER!
