About art styles

It's always a topic that's been lingering on my mind for the last few years. I'm honestly a bit insecure about my style. I feel like I haven't quite settled into a particular one. In fact I don't know if it's in my nature to even settle down on a style. I look around and I find a lot to love in various different kinds of artstyles and it never came clear to me - this is the direction I want to take.
And then there's the fact that I get into the mindset of trying to fit into the vibe I get from fandoms/characters. Like for the Ellen pic, the dynamism that I feel from ZZZ seeps into the creation.
More so that I'm such a temperamental artist that relies on getting into the mood/flow more so than a technical one.
I wish I can say I'll ever be a consistent artist. But honestly I'm happier playing in the edges where things are a little more uncomfortable and less controlled. Sometimes I stumble and fail. Sometimes I find treasures I wouldn't have if I didn't go out on my so-called adventures.
I think I'll just follow my heart for now and see what I find out along the way ❤️
