Weekly Update #3
🕑 Added 2025-03-24 04:12:01 +0000 UTCGreat week! I finally beat Starling's section!! It took two weeks and four days of a fever but was finally done! I am very proud of it too, I had a lot of fun!
Now, I want to take just a week to update the plotting in my notes, make sure to go over some coding that was a bit iffy and dialogue options that were being a nuisance within the link.
So, plan for later:
To get the scoop on Clare Buckley's life and Luke.
Get back to the cottage FINALLY, its a free roam section I finished coding ages ago that I'm so proud of.
Write up the second crime scene scoop, then the meeting with Starling, and if the Witch makes it back in time to try and meet S.
Finally, onto L's introduction right at the end and Z's official meeting. That would wrap it up for Chapter 1! Which means some time in Early Access and then being released on Itchio!
The current length of the entire game is 84,954 words and over an hour and a half of play!
Also, the planning of Chapter 2! If everything goes to plan, the rest of the game is going to be a bit more free roam, so you have to put effort into meeting L out in the countryside, trying to get into S' parties to actually talk to them, the randomised events for the cottage and the Wytchwood. There is A LOT in chapter 2 so I want to take a lot of time after Chapter 1 to make sure it all works, so wanna leave you all with a nice chunky chapter before I go into some hectic planning.
