“P-please don’t cry, Miss Iris!”
“Uuu, but…”
“If you don’t mind, I can be your companion at any time. Whether it’s at the inn where Miss Iris is staying or at my house…”
“R-really!?”
“Woah!”
When I said that, Iris rushed towards me.
Her momentum was so great that our bodies almost touched.
“You really mean what you said, right? No taking back! In that case, and before you change your mind, let’s go to Ryou’s house right away!”
“Wait, now?”
“Yes, now! You know what they say: strike while the iron is hot! So let’s hurry!”
“B-but what about your companions?”
“Hold on… okay. I gave a secret signal to Tsukikage that I was leaving with Ryou. If I leave as I am now, I’m sure she’ll tell the other two as well, considering how she is.”
“Um, I can’t just walk away from my work…”
“Ah, I see. I’m sorry. I was too excited back there…”
After that, I went back to the guild and asked for permission to leave early for the day.
I thought it might not be accepted, but I was told, “Seeing the way things are going, I don’t think the Quest Distribution Department will have much work to do today, so why not?” and just like that, my request to leave early was accepted without a hitch.
As I left the guild and returned to the back door, Iris’ face immediately lit up.
“Mister Ryou, I’ve been waiting for you! Come on, let’s go!”
Iris, her voice flirtatious, hurriedly approached me and snuggled up against my side.
It was kind of cute the way she held the clothes around my elbow with her fingertips.
If I had told the me of the past that the day would come when he would leave work early to have sex with an elf, he would never have believed me.
◆
“Hehe, it’s just the two of us now…♡”
A bell-like voice echoes in the dark room with the lights dimmed and the windows closed.
The voice belonged to a slender girl with pointed ears.
She was now sprawled on top of me on the bed, looking down at me with a bewitching smile on her face.
If I had wanted to, I could have swept her slender body off her feet.
I should have been able to.
But she held me down gently and skilfully in critical places, preventing me from moving my body with the slightest force.
As expected from an S-rank adventurer.
“Ehehehe… even if you cry or say you hate it, it’s too late. There’s no one here to help you now~”
Despite her innocent, girlish appearance, she spoke these very inappropriate yet seductive words, licking her lips and bringing her face to mine.
The tips of her silver hair fell freely on top of me.
And then…
“…well, this is my house. If another person were here, they would either be a burglar or a thief.”
“Mou, that’s not what I’m talking about, Mister Ryou!”
Hearing my words, Iris’ cheeks suddenly puffed up for some reason.
Did I perhaps do something I wasn’t supposed to?
For now, let’s apologize.
“I’m sorry. But when I entered the room, I was suddenly told to lie down on the bed, so I had no choice but to jump in, thinking a skit had started out of the blue…”
“It’s not a ‘skit’ Mister Ryou… Sigh… Men really don’t understand this kind of thing, do they? You really don’t have any sense of romance.”
Iris says as she slumps her shoulders and stares at me.
“Romance, is it?”
“Yes, romance. I know it’s a situation that doesn’t exist in reality, but women are like that, fiery in their hearts! We want to scare an inexperienced gentleman into fear of the act that is about to take place and then soothe and bond with him, leading to loving sex in the end. This is pretty much the fantasy every woman craves!”
“Ah.”
I sort of get it now.
It’s one of those role-play things, isn’t it?
When I was in my former world, I heard a lot of stories from people I knew who knew a lot about nightclubs and what went on in those kinds of places.
Some hold reenactment plays as a kind of service to add a twist to their sex, like ‘the girl is threatened and forced to have sex after her weakness is discovered’ or ‘the girl has to offer her body to pay off her parents’ debt’ or something of that nature.
However, such high-level plays are just too much beyond my skills.
So please tone it down a bit!
“I see, so this is one of those role-playing things, huh?”
“Role… play?”
“Hmm? Don’t the male brothels in the royal capital do this sort of thing?”
In our previous conversation, it seemed that there were male prostitutes in this world and that it was common for female adventurers to go to male brothels.
So, I thought there might be male brothels that offer role-playing services, but that doesn’t seem to be the case here.
“Ha ha, you have some interesting ideas, Mister Ryou. Role-playing, was it? If a male brothel offering such services were built, women from all over the country would flock to it right away, no matter the price…”
“But these are male brothels, right? So there must be something unique about them, or they wouldn’t sell?”
“No. Or rather, they don’t need it. Because women will come to you just by saying you’re a male prostitute. There’s no need to go out of your way to ‘market’ yourself that way.”
Ah, I see. I forgot that there are far fewer men than women in this world. So, no matter how bland their service is, their standards will remain high.
Huh?
But why are there male prostitutes in the first place?
“But they are prostitutes, right? They sell their bodies for money?”
“Mm…? You say strange things sometimes, don’t you, Mister Ryou? Male brothels are more of state-run projects. That means they are run by the government.”
“Is that so? And?”
Still not getting it, I pressed Iris to explain the story in more detail.
As you might expect, Iris was also a little annoyed at my lack of common sense in this world, but she didn’t say anything.
Maybe she sensed there was something going on with me.
Or maybe she was thinking, ‘I want to finish this explanation so I can get laid as soon as possible.’
Her expression right now tells me it’s the last one.
“This means that male prostitutes are held in the highest esteem in the country – and are paid the most. This is all the more true in recent years when the declining birth rate has become even more pronounced due to the imbalance in the ratio of men to women.”
“Hm?”
“For this reason, men who work in men’s brothels are treated well by the country. They are members of the ministry who have dedicated themselves to the future of the state. Among them, male prostitutes who work in male brothels in the royal capital sometimes have a stronger voice than the nobles.”
“Wow. So… can anyone become a male prostitute?”
