Why would it be unfair for Chinese and Arabic airlines to fly over Russia? They never agreed with those sanctions in the first place, so why should they suffer from measures they never supported? We, Europeans and North Americans should put an end to the racist mindset that assumes every Chinese and Arab person must follow the interests and value judgments of the European and American white people! Arabs and Chinese consider and sense the world, geopolitics and the whole valueset about what is good and what is wrong, differently. When Russia is their friend and our foe, than it is a fact to be accepted without expecting them to think with our minds or act according to our interests.

As with previous “Gov Shutdowns”, many employees that are deemed “critical” must work, while all the others basically get a free vacation. The morale of the employees who must work is devastated as they work, while others get that free time off, and with no additional funds or admin time off. Executives in the Fed have never made a decision to somehow reward the critical workers across the board for being at work, which absolutely should happen, but has not.
