bonus base update!
🕑 Added 2024-09-16 20:42:51 +0000 UTCI’m so sorry it’s been a bit without a solid update! Truthfully I once again couldn’t afford to pause comms to work on this but the longer it goes on the worse I feel about it not being done so I’m determined to have this done before the end of the year- and then going forward I will 100% stop making these base project plans so massive that I struggle to finish them 🥲
That being said, in pulling up the file today, I just was not happy with the look of things and for having the project take this long, I want to be able to present you all with something I actually feel good about making- as much as I wanted to avoid any delays to it & just put my head down and finish it up, it’s just not sitting right with me. So I’m going to be using what I had done as a base to quickly overhaul the lines (it’s mainly the body & arms I wasn’t feeling good about) and then immediately get back to lining all the ears I had sketched since those were all looking good to me!
The original plan was to have armours & fantasy based accessories for this base, and while that’s something I’d still love to do, I know now I signed myself up for way too much in one base, and the time it’s taken is a clear indication. I think it’s smartest (to make sure this DOES get completed) that I drop the heavy theme for the time being & focus on making this solely a multi breed canine base set so it’s not so overwhelming. I hate feeling as if I’ve failed on my promises, but I 1000% have an issue of overcommitting myself to way more than I’m feesibly able to do, and then suffering trying to complete it lol
Hopefully with adjusting the project like this I can have it done swiftly & start work on some smaller bases to start getting in a better rhythm with it! And as always the patience means a lot so. Thank you all so very much.

I repeat what I said about this on your server. Be kind to yourself, and take it easy. There’s no rush, either, and it’s okay if it’s a process. Having a base to use is cool, but your wellbeing comes first and foremost 🫂🩷
