I just checked out the creations at playing.hypernom.com. Lots of fun stuff! Also, it wasn't immediately clear to me that I could use ASD and QE to navigate the environment at http://child.hypernom.com/. Once I realized that, it took away a lot of time :D. Time well spent.

Thanks for the reply! Maybe not spherical video. But it seems like a left-right 3D video aught to be possible? I mean you have all the footage you need right there. I found this support article that may have some pointers: https://support.google.com/youtube/answer/7278886?hl=en

I'm glad you noticed the colors, they were very carefully composed! I wish there were a way to capture a spherical video from a web thing like this. But I suppose the web version will have to do, for now. Thank you for your kind comments!

This really took me a while to process! It needed a peculiar frame of mind.. I mean this entire thing has so many layers, and so many secrets. And you have described a lot of these secrets above, but I feel so much of what actually came out at the end is hard to describe. The entire experience felt like moving through a mathematical field -- not just the space but also the sounds. As you said, each place had its own theme that played along. But it felt so much more to me as I kept watching it. The 12 tones seemed embedded in the fabric of space and seemed to be a function of that space and everything that was in sight. More so, the colors themselves seemed to describe how cold or warm the tones were. Or was it the other way round? I don't know! This was beautiful. Thank you for taking the time out and making this work, so that it can be documented in some form. Being a software engineer, I understand software and hardware obsolescence all too well.. PS: I wonder if you considered moving the video you recorded from your experimental platform to a format that is recognized by YouTube as web VR? Something that could work on Cardboard? I mean I would be thrilled to watch this in actual VR! And making this work on the browser is arguably the best way to preserve this art.
