I really like how much Todoroki has opened up since we first met him. From his "I'm not here to make friends, I'm just here to get closer to my goal" attitude to actively making an effort to interact with his classmates and cheer them up. He even tries to talk to Bakugo now! Midoriya breaking down and crying really got to me. It is so tough to deal with complicated situations that require confidentiality. Even for adults who have chosen professions such as detectives, social workers, and therapists that require confidentiality, knowing about situations such as those that involve abuse but being unable to speak about it to others as a requirement of your job can be incredibly emotionally taxing. But these are just young kids who are dealing with life-or-death situations. I really feel for these kids and wish I could give them a hug. 🥺
