My youngest brother isn't into anime like me but he finished watching it down to the recently released season. He surpassed me as I haven't finished watching the sixth season by the time it was released (it just that I haven't gotten the time). As I mentioned in my earlier comment, I planned to re-watch this series with you. So thank you so much!

Lailanie

I'm glad you're watching this series. I planned to re-watch it because it's been a long time since the last time, I want to recap what's going on 'cause I haven't watched the latest season. Good to see you reacting to another anime I've watched and love. Thank you so much.

hin0kamikagura

i would happily be a moderator, i know this show/series like the back of my hand!!!

Hi Jared & Jordan how are you? I hope you guys doing great. This is crazy. Today I was thinking of re-watching MHA before watching season 7 to refresh my memory. Then I received notification from your channel that you guys bingeing MHA, I got goosebumps from my head to my toes. Oh well watching it with the two best people for me is better than watching it alone, anyway enjoy this amazing anime and I hope you guys are always healthy and safe and plz continue to give us your good contagious energy.

WATASHI GA KITA!!

💥Katsuki BakuGOAT💥(Kacchan)

Thank you!

Jay18

Welcome to one of the best anime's ever! it's literally impossible for me to have a favorite character of this one because there are just soooo many to choose from!!! There will be so many twists & turns that you won't expect so sit back and enjoy boys. It's a good one!

Alpha

Looking forward to your explanations cause this is my first time watching

💥Katsuki BakuGOAT💥(Kacchan)

Ok guys, this is my favorite series so expect me to explain a lot for you like I am now. So like this Intro says, This is a superpowered society with 80% of the population being born with a quirk. Think of it like this: If a man has a quirk that creates water and pulls it from the air around them, and a woman has a quirk that allows her to turn water into any element, their child could be born with the power to take the water from the air and turn it into any any element. A combination of both their parents quirks. It's also possible to be born with either just the mother or fathers quirk or with a quirk that's a mutation which is different from either parents quirk but that's rare. The people who look like monsters or wood have been born with a heteromorphic quirk that permanently changed their appearance from that of a normal human being. (Like kamui woods or the sludge villan for example) I'm very happy that you're starting this series so thank you for all you do! It dives into a lot of different things so I hope you come to love it as much as I have. Also, katsuki is pronounced kat-ski not kat-su-ki. :) he's my favorite character like a lot of people and all I'll say is pay attention to him and how his character is written and give him a little grace like I know you have with so many other characters and I hope you'll eventually come to understand why many of us love him so much! Additionally, the episodes always have a preview at the end for the next episode so don't watch it or it will spoil for you. (Also the manga has already ended) Thank you so much if you read my comment and I hope you enjoy the series

💥Katsuki BakuGOAT💥(Kacchan)

PLEASE REMEMBER TO WATCH THE MOVIES

💥Katsuki BakuGOAT💥(Kacchan)

💥Katsuki BakuGOAT💥(Kacchan)

The manga is actually done guys. We get one more season this year of anime in the fall

Maka

"We didn't grow up watching many superhero films or shows" Ok important question: Have you seen the MCU movies? If not, maybe this could be a bigger Reaction project? (Please I need this :D)

Also there’s 4 movies that kinda correlate to the show I’d say two are more cannon than the others, mha: two hero’s can be watched after season 2, mha: heroes rising can be watched between 4-5 though set in later season 5; mha: worlds mission can be watched after season 6; mha: your next can be watched before season 7. Though as I said. The movies are sort of set apart from the show some parts are mentioned in the show but overall can be watched anytime

BtsOT79798

I hope they do 2 seasons and a final movie

Another anime that’s a favorite of mine is Fairytail and MHA is tied for first on my favorite list! I like all kinds of fantasy shows! Also fun fact: the station the big first fight was at was called tatooin station apparently some of the people who work on the show are big Star Wars fans so there’s some of this sprinkled in! One of the things I love about this show in particular is the concept and how it’s executed! I love the almost comic feel in the show especially when they give character information! Also, bakugo aka kachan is one of my favorite characters in this show (he wasn’t at first but I love a good character arc and in my opinion he has one of the best ones in the show) To clear some things up: izuku is the green haired boys first name and Midoryia is his last and katsuki is kachann’s first name as is bakugo is his last, these characters have known each other since they were little (more on their relationships as the show goes on), that’s why they have special nick names for each other katsuki calles izuku (deku: which stands for something i will not spoil) and izuku calles katsuki kachann

Umi

The composer of the OST is the same as in Hikyuu, it sounds epic.

yasmine 🤍

I got so excited when I saw this notification! MHA is my fourth favorite after AOT, Haikyuu, and HXH, so I decided to explain somethings to you guys (spoiler free of course.) 1). Quirks are just the terminology for superpowers in MHA, very few times they will call them "powers", it'll mostly be called "Quirks" through and through 2). Katsuki Bakugo (the blonde bully): his nickname, which really only Izuku refers to him as is "Kacchan", taking the "Ka" from his first name and adding "-chan" which usually means familiarity or something child-hood like 3). Izuku Midoriya (Our main character): He has the nickname "Deku" which Bakugo gave to him as well, in the next episode or two (I believe) it'll explain what "Deku" means and why Bakugo uses that nickname for Izuku. And also, don't be scared to call him that either! It's commonly used to refer to Izuku as any one of the names I mentioned in this paragraph.

mha is actually so good and the pacing is good too. not too fast but not too slow either. glad u guys already like it. i’m excited to see more of ur guys reactions towards the later seasons 😎 love this for us 🦸🏽‍♂️

Umi

By the way, the manga is finished (it finished this last summer), but the anime is not, the 8th (and last) season is been produced and apparently is airing in some point along the year.

Murmur

Let's go!!

Angélica Hernández

Let's goooooo!

Umi

Let’s go!!!! I grew up reading manga and watching anime, but at my lasts years of high school and firsts years of college I stopped because of lack of time. In 2018 or so I borrowed this manga from my brother and it hooked me completely, because of that I came back to the manga-anime world again. Be prepared for a lot of characters, names, hero names, different Quirks (superpowers), etc. You will need to take notes and check them frequently at least in the first and second season, maybe more. I hope you enjoy this journey.

carmen 🫧

ugh that scene after midoriya discovers he is quirk less with his mom always gets me to tear up🫠 ahh

Jake R

And one last thing. The OST is really strong and the openings are sooo good 🔥

fox

i always liked Midoriya's opening monologue starting with 'all men are not created equal', it goes so hard to set the scene for his struggles. in a world full of people with 'quirks' or superpowers, each power being unique and definitely not equal. even with Midoriya's parents, his mother can float small objects and his father can breathe fire, very different and i'd say unequal powers. i'm really excited to see yall explore this world, i'm a huge super hero fan and i love the way they approached the world building in this story. there are also a TON of characters but they will also constantly remind you who is who and what they can do so don't worry too much if you can't catch everything 😄

carmen 🫧

our little kacchan has made his debut uh oh let see where he takes us from here 💅

Jake R

And it’s EE-zoo-koo MEE-door-ee-AH 😂 But Deku is much easier

carmen 🫧

yes omg i’ve been waiting for this ken turn it up😎😎

Jake R

Glad I’m in Otaku Gold for this one. MHA is really a fantastic series and a genuinely good superhero story. Quirks are such a fun power system too. Hope y’all love it!

Kevin

Oh! And as far as I know, MHA is the most difficult anime out there to get past copywrite issues on YouTube. Nearly every MHA reaction series has multiple episodes taken down per season and I’ve heard many reactors complain about it. Just a heads up so you guys are aware of it once you start posting them to YouTube.

Kevin

So excited, this will be such a good show for Otoku Gold binging! One quick idea to throw out there early in case you guys are interested: A lot of reaction channels for MHA pick an “MVP of the episode” in their post-discussion for each episode. The large cast lends itself well to this, and it can generate some fun discussion in the comments. Just an idea though!

Imran

remember watching this when it came out, the first 2or3 seasons are really good. dropped this after that dunno why

BtsOT79798

One of the first anime shows I’ve watched! It’s really good!

Sufiyaki Teriyaki

Batman!

Shoto IcyHot (Slussh)

Alright, J&J, prepare for a completely new anime journey. I only just started this a week and a half ago, but I'm already on episode 48, mid of season 3 today. This anime starts off lighthearted and "childish" in the first few episodes, sorta like how HxH beginning was, but I SHIT YOU NOT Y'ALL, it just keeps getting better and BETTER. Now, I'm a huge fan of superhero stuff, I even write superhero fiction as an aspiring author on the side. It's a big deal to me to read and watch everything superhero cause I like to admire it all. I didn't vibe with this anime for a bit early last year, but when I gave it a second chance at the beginning of this year, it was pure fire 🔥 Nonstop something to love. Stay with it y'all. Its all uphill from here. I literally crave watching more of it every single day. Somehow it never fails to disappoint me with new stuff. It starts off light at first...but just you wait, y'all gonna be on your toes with this one!!! There are a lot of heroes and people with "quirks" to keep track of in this anime. Y'all are welcome to keep writing about each of them, there is no hurt in it, but the anime will assist you overtime keeping track of everyone's names.

Belly p.

hoping you’d do dub for this but the sub is great too

fox

yay! it's finally time! actually the manga has been completed but the anime hasn't caught up yet, i don't know if they are planning one more season or 2 but it's close!
