Demon Slayer is one of the most famous anime in history, and the Mugen Train Arc movie is the highest-grossing anime movie of all time. 3. Urokodaki wears a mask because demons used to bully him in the past due to his gentle-looking face. 4. Many famous voice actors worked on this series: the voice actor for Sabito (the boy with the mask) is the same as Eren’s voice actor, Tanjiro’s voice actor is also Falco’s, and Giyu’s voice actor is Geto’s from Jujutsu Kaisen, among others 5- you can watch the preview, there is no spoilers there 😂

i cant even begin to explain how this is just the tip of the iceberg. peak fights, peak emotion, peak animation. i absolutely loved the beginning of demon slayer but the content later on makes the early episodes seem like a slice of life anime

Heyy mah FAVE brothersss.. I've mentioned previously that y'all can watch up to the very end. Those aren't spoilers, they're just like juju strolls. Just the comedic, cute scenes about the episode. I believe they're called "taisho secrets" here. They may mention some previews for the next episode but they won't be spoilers. I loovvee this episode as it showed just Tanjiro training. It was not like "oh wow he's already strong and skillful". We saw a bit of how he struggled and how long he's been training just to get that boulder sliced. I wish I could explain that and Sabito & Makomo more, but you'll find out more about the two later on. So let's leave that for now. I adore these Total Concentration Breathing techniques, like really, really! You'll see more of it and its different forms in the future. I'd just like to emphasize to appreciate it as early as now 💜 Excited for more episodes next week. Thank you for this J&J!! Btw, Solo Leveling 2 had just started. I wish we can watch it together soon too! 💜

It's not like it ruins the show, I'm just saying that since this is fiction and it was written fairly recently it would have been better if they used a different term. Representing history accurately is important. Including a toxic message in a fictional work aimed at young men isn't necessary and doesn't really add to the story. I'm not suggesting that anyone be offended by it, just pointing out that it's not a great message in case someone needs to hear it. Sometimes an idea is ingrained in a person's upbringing, and every time that message appears, it's pushed a little deeper into their values. If just one person calls attention to the fact that it's not necessarily true, maybe it will help. ❤️

I do agree that the “like a real man” thinking/ideology/philosophy (whichever fits the description) is outdated and toxic, but it personally didn’t bother me as much as I’m sure it may have bothered other people. The reason being is because this is just how Sabito thinks. This way of thinking doesn’t apply to all the characters of this anime, nor is it the main message that is being pushed to the audience. Also, this anime is set way in ancient Japan where the “like the man” thinking was common.

You're not wrong!!! People show their 7 month old babies how to survive in water. I've heard that people who have pools like to do this, just in case the baby accidentally falls in the pool.. I've seen the videos too 😄🫶🏻

demon slayer is fast paced but there’s a lot of training which i appreciate. you can really see the hard work tanjiro puts in, and i feel like the choreography of the fights is pretty realistic (as realistic as a fantasy anime can be lol)

Ugh. I forgot about the whole 'like a real man' thing in this episode. It's cringe and toxic. I wish they used 'slayer' or 'warrior' or something. This is my first rewatch. Looking forward to catching more things on this go around!

Yes time moves quick in this universe. One of the many things I like about Demon Slayer is the pacing. They don't waste much time with training or traveling and go to the point pretty quick.
