I love the fact that Jordan was conflicted with feeling happy or sad regarding the King's alleged passing, this just proves the writer's success in making us have some type of emotion (other than hate) towards an obvious antagonist of this arc.....but like i said in my previous comment, the character development of Meruem causes viewers to have a love/hate relationship with him. Also, Youpi and Pouf becoming at the same level as queen was because they were able to "Rebirth" the king. Like a mother nourishing her child through her milk, they nourished Meruem back to life by feeding him their very essence and life force.

I also want to clarify, that the Pouf and Youpi juice are basically just liquified Pouf and Youpi. So the more they are feeding the King the less powerful they are forever, as it would be the same as the King eating 80-90% of your body. Which is the reason the King could fly all of the sudden, as he consumed almost every last Youpi drop. Due to the Kings ability to absorb someons Nen he was able to use Youpis abilities to form himself some "Youpi Wings" of his own as soon as he "resurrected".

HxH is an amazing anime. The characters are well-developed and very interesting. By the way, many of them are quite similar to characters from another anime—my favorite one—JoJo. I hope you’ll react to JoJo someday. I would be incredibly grateful. The anime is strange, a bit boring at the beginning, but it’s unique and unlike any other. A masterpiece.
