Watching episode 20 on YouTube after discovering you guys last month was the cherry on top of why I joined as a patreon. I LOVE YOUR REACTIONS, this is an amazing show and I love that you guys take everything in with such depth. I’m definitely not going anywhere else for anime anymore.

It was such a beautiful scene when Rui didn't think he would see his parents again, because he knew they were going to heaven and he was going to hell. But like true parents, instead of going to heaven, they chose to go to hell with him so they could be with their son. I was also a little confused the first time I saw the scene when Shinobu started chasing Nezuko in the forest. While Giyu held Shinobu in a chokehold, it was actually Kanao who chased Nezuko when Nezuko shrank in size and ran around.

Ahhhhh, the Hashiras!! Absolutely some of my favorite characters in the whole series. Forgot how hard this episode hits. Spent the first five minutes crying. This series does a damn good job of not making excuses for the demons but explaining how they got where they did. Tanjiro being that voice of reason, pointing out that they were all humans once. It's a great analogy for how people can fall into criminal activity for various reasons and do horrible things, but at some point, they were usually just a human trying to exist. Tanjiro is empathy personified.
