So I literally commented before how Fly High has been my wake up alarm for years, I am a big dummy because that is wrong. It’s Phoenix. I just looked at my phone to make sure this time. I realized I was wrong when I literally sprung out of my bed and got super anxious about being late, like a pavlovian response. Almost got an anxiety attack lol, I have to set like 6 alarms 5-10 minutes apart to wake up on time ☠️ But yay, season 4 I’m almost caught up.

“To the Top” is the title of S4.

So many watchers label Hinata cringe in this arc. I disagree, too. My heart always goes out to him. His best friend, with whom he has the world’s longest and most intense competitive streak, hit him in the heart with, “I’m going on ahead.” There is nothing Hinata fears more than being left behind. It is very common for fear to incite actions without forethought. Personally, I love Hinata’s tenacity!

I love how the coach did not gave Hinata special treatment cause he was not invited in the first place. Hinata bring this upon himself. It would be bad for the coach's reputation to allow someone who was not invited, since it will be just assume that you can just join training camp without invitation. This is a big test for Hinata. We just need to hope that he would learn how the players invited get good.

Ball Boy time! I’m so excited to see this arc, it never gets old. Also, you’re right about the furigana thing. Furigana is when you write the pronunciation of a kanji next to it. Kanji characters can have multiple readings (ways of pronouncing them), so unless you’ve seen a word before it can be impossible to know how a word sounds. I feel Kageyama’s pain on this one, because I had exactly the same problem in Japan. In particular, train station names always have weird readings. Thank you as always for the great content, and for reading my last comment

a lot of people who watch this for the first time are embarrassed by Hinata's actions, but honestly, this made me respect him even more. Im glad you guys thought the same.

at around 26:36, when it’s talking about “big bro”, “big bros team”, etc, it just means ppl from other teams who like to mess with tsukki, because tanaka had mentioned that other teams rarely get to do it, and he said it happens enough already (hope this made sense 😭🙏)

Andreas Adekoya

character writing in this show is so good it's unreal

Happy Haikyuu Thursday 🔥🔥 I don't know if anyone's mentioned that the animation is slightly different this season, it's changed to be more accurate to the original manga art 🥰
