I have been looking forward to you guys reaching season 2. Both seasond 2 and 4 are my favorites out of the entire series. You will enjoy this season very, very, very much and see the meaning behind the anime start to show even more. Everyone starts to evolve more both as a team and individually. I love episode one because this is when Hinata not only knows, but sees what he's up against in order to win. This creates a spark that had me 😲🔥😎Let's Go!!! I've watched this season more than once because of how amazing it is. I know you guys will enjoy what's to come, and I'll be watching along with you😂.

The reason Hinata got mad at Ushiwaka is not because he said that they are weak, I think Hinata got mad because he called Aoba Johsai weak, something like "Aoba Johsai weak, infertile ? The team which was toe to toe with us ? In the match where everybody gave their best ?", that's how much Hinata respects them. I hope it makes sense what I tried to say and that I was coherent enough. 😅

Welcome to the comment section, fellow ARMY! Haikyu!! is my comfort anime, too.

Just caught up with your season one reactions and finally leaving my first comment. This season and season 4 of Haikyuu are my magic shop (army here who leaped with joy when you started an anime channel). Every time I feel sad or unmotivated I come back to these two seasons and immediately feel comforted and better. The following arc is probably my favorite in the whole show and the most wholesome and fun one. Also, Hinata Shoyo from the CONCRETE! Chills! I’ve seen a lot of anime in my time and I must say Hinata is still one of the best protagonists out there. He is hardworking, driven, passionate, and with a sunshine personality to boot. His growth throughout the show is very inspiring to see, and I think a lot of people can relate to his struggles and his story.

“Japan” = Ushijima Wakatoshi Nickname = Ushiwaka School = Shiratorizawa Academy Mascot/Animal = white eagle Hinata cracks me up. So starstruck meeting Ushiwaka on the street he cannot muster a coherent greeting but blurts out “Japan!” instead. Hinata always living up to Kageyama’s favorite “boke” nickname for him! Lol. Question: J&J, have you ever been starstruck?

Levi = 5’2” Hinata = 5’3” (1st year) Levi would have to have some hops to compete in VB.

This series honestly and truly gets better per season ! You meet new people and their impact on the game how it’s played how they feel like everything is purposefully done ! Going to have a great time !

As others said, the reason why Nekoma members sneezed or got cold is because Karasuno talked about them 🤣 It's a common expression In Japan, whenever I sneeze Japanese people always say "Maybe someone talking about you" lol

Ashley K

I am Ashley from the concrete.

OMG I have been waiting for you guys to watch session 2, it's the best session ever I always repeat this session and just can’t get enough. Your watching the first session is only an introduction, and the enthusiasm and attachment to the characters and getting deeper into the teams will begin soon, so grab your pen and notebook, You will write many names and notes. PS: Just wanted to thank you for your reactions it seems amazing how my listening skills in English improved since I started watching you I always learn some new words from your videos.

NG

A little explanation, the reason why Kenma and Yaku (nekoma’s libro) sneezed is because Nishinoya and Kageyama were talking about playing them again. Same for Yamamoto and Tanaka 🤭🤭

LET'S GOOOOOOOO

Recon is the same as scouting, essentially checking out another team's players and abilities.
