We were genuinely surprised by how deeply "A Silent Voice" moved us (as captured in our thumbnail). This poignant & profound film is one of our new favorites. Remember to be kind and gentle with one another; you never know what someone else might be going through ๐

I've definitely heard of this movie before, and it's been on my watch list forever. Chord Overstreet reposted a music video a fan made with his song, "Hold On," and this anime (and several others). I was like, okay, time to watch it, and decided to watch it with you. So heavy and good. I'm glad I finally did (also the music video is great, but will probably hit even harder now). I really love Spirited Away, and agree with the other comments, it's my favorite film by Studio Ghibli. If you want to watch another really good, but incredibly heavy anime, there is Grave of the Fireflies. But, if you decide to watch it, make sure you have at least a weekend to recover. It's very heavy. That one really sticks with you.
