As we are all well aware, payment processors and political bodies have, over the years, made it incrementally more difficult for websites that cater to ADULTS to keep their guidelines as free as possible for their users. This is why the Tumblr porn ban happened. This is why every youtube video that pertains even slightly to horror or sensitive topics is riddled with euphemisms. This is why people tip toe around kink and LGBT conversations in pretty much every platform.
But things have kind of tipped over recently following the actions of a well known group called Collective Shout, resulting in several games and comics to be pulled out of Itchio and Steam. What's to note here is that, despite the group's claims that they seek to protect children from being exposed to hateful and violent material, these actions have also objectively targeted adult content that was appropriately labeled and (strangest of all 🤔) a lot of purely creative LGBT works 🤔🤔🤔🤔
In response, people have been incessantly calling the payment processors that caved to the pressure of said group, as well as their government reps to express discontentment, concern, and indignance at these bodies' attempts to essentially restrict adults who are trying to consume adult media online.
So, after seeing the "Strip for Stripe" trend going on I decided to put my own little spin on it, as you see above, to encourage folks to participate! DU drow will be, uh, charitably donating his hole for the cause. And the progress will be documented FOR FREE on my Bluesky (meanbossart) for everyone to enjoy.

Remember that as dire as things may seem, puritanical bodies and laws are always trying to get passed. It's tempting to want to lay prone and just lament the state of things hopelessly, but that's exactly what they want us to do 🤷 it took the actions of a few outraged people to get us here, and it will take action to get us out.
