I'm sorry, I'm not sure I understand the question π As far as I see it drawing IS just shapes and placement.

I have an artsy question. When you do the rough sketch of the reference do you literally just draw the shapes that make up their bodies to help you place them correctly ? Iβm asking because I do this and lately Iβve been feeling like Iβm not actually βdrawingβ if that makes sense..,
