Oh the details, like how Astarion's arm over Drow's is drawn a little thicker there, showing how tensely Astarion presses his arm against his partner's. I didn't put together at first that Astarion is uncomfortable, though I did wonder why he looks to the side. I guess it's because it's how I cuddle, whenever someone holds me I literally hold them back. But makes sense, the vulnerability of being naked and hold on his neck/chin can make anyone uncomfortable, especially whenit'sb triggering traumatic memories.

Pretty sure that our artist has explained this elsewhere. Has to do with Astarion's attempt to not give up total control, I believe? Perhaps this can be verified.

I don't want to read too much into things but... I noticed that in every other art with them in bed together (I'm not including nsfw) Astarion wears his shirt as pajamas. But here he doesn't have anything. It feels extra objectifying. I love this!
