Artist note for this one, but doing this in a much smaller canvas than usual turned out being an interesting experiment! I don't know if it's the brush pack I use (I use mostly DAUB's stuff and then switch around lining brushes often) But for whatever reason a lower DPI and size made stuff much easier to work with.
If you struggle with how the texture of your brushes appear/blend in your art, try it sometime!

This one is 72dpi, but that stuff doesn't really matter unless you're a) printing or b)if some of your brushes are lagging.

Oh got it! I also usually do more than 1800…yet I’ve read another artists also does like 800x800 at 72dpi… maybe smaller canvases is where the secret sauce is 😂

This is a 1300x1300 (and change) canvas at 72 DPI, I usually do at least 1800px width and much higher DPI, but tend to sketch smaller, so this time I forgot to blow the canvas up after I was past that stage. I could list some of my brushes later! Just have to see where I even got some of these in the first place.
