I love how this is such a similar idea on the surface to Barbatus' comic about the fake beard and yet you both managed to get, like, such wildly different tones that somehow ring true. Astarion here seems to shut his mouth HARD. (Also, was Caz forcing them to stand there to watch this? I mean, not shocking but damn.) I love Petras' snickering to the side- I think it kind of gives a little hint of how Astarion gets the relationship dynamic going with DU Drow since he's already used to being a little more measured in the face of weirdness.
