WIP posting plus small update ๐

TLDR: chronic illness has been kicking my ass badly in the past few days which made me really really slow with alot of things and I decided to postpone the two above pictures for a few days until I feel better again instead of pressuring myself to finish them until the end of the month.
So as I've been mentioning, I've been going through the worst flare up of my chronic illness that I've had this entire year so far thanks to severe period cramps, recent stressful events and also another ongoing heatwave here triggering it and while I've thankfully managed the symptoms well enough as much as I can that I can still get stuff done and have been working diligently as much as I could (without being completely bedbound for a week how it has been the case in prior years) the major fatigue I've been dealing with in the past days I can't do much about so I've been really slow with alot of things.
This included responding to comments, messages and also some art I've been meaning to finish up and polish. I've been hoping to get the two pictures above done until the end of August but it was not possible for me under the current circumstances, not without my overall health suffering from it and also me most likely not being happy with the final results so I decided to postpone finishing these and also polishing up some other pictures that I still wanted to give some polishing until I'm feeling better. Which should hopefully be soon but I've also decided not to pressure myself to finish these things whatever the cost until the end of the month. The commissioner of the Skadi piece also gave me their full support and reassurance to take all the time I need with it and that he'd rather have me happy with the picture instead of receiving something rushed and for my own personal Kiran piece I'd also prefer being happy with it myself than feeling like I have to rush it to get it done.
I can fully understand if some of you might feel disappointed by this but I hope me showing you the current state of both and the fact that they are pretty far along will reassure you that they will Be done hopefully soon and I have been working on both, I just decided to do the reasonable thing and be mindful of my health (even if I'm still pissed myself about having to because I really wanted to finish these and I hate that it messed up my schedule so much) but I can't focus on clean full render art when I'm ultra fatigued and feeling bad and for me being happy with my own art is very important, I hope you guys understand ๐๐
I want to be as transparent about this as possible so you guys know what's been going on, especially when I drop optimistic posts about hopefully finishing up stuff soon and that not happening, the explanation/reason behind it is literally always the same : my chronic illness kicking my ass and me having a hard time with fatigue and no energy and focus thanks to it.
August has been tough for me and my chronic illness with the heatwaves (which is also why I wanted to take my little semi-hiatus-vacation-time during it ) so I'm hoping things will get better soon considering it's September now, I love summer but my POTS doesn't so I'm stoked for Autumn and being able to draw more again without feeling handicapped af ๐ซ
The reward sketches for August will also be postponed for a little bit until I reliably can draw again without fatigue beating my ass
This has gotten kinda long now, sorry about that but ot felt important to me to adress and I'm just asking for a little consideration if that's okay. I'm immensely grateful for you guys' patience and support and I'll never take it for granted, which is again why I want to be transparent about these things with you, thank you so much for reading this, for your time and also I'm wishing you all a lovely sunday! ๐๐
