Hey everyone. You most likely have seen the itch post on F:DB. Yes the game is done, beat, it's dead. It ain't coming back.
Because we want to make something better. For a while, I think before we even made F:DB, we wanted to make a game through godot. But because of Godot's learning curve and our inexperience. We bit our tounge and continued with using Renpy, we aren't stopping our game production. Studio Mirage is still going through with Five lustful nights and our new game BonBon's. We stopped because we wanted something better now we are making something better and up to standard, That's all it is.
Actual devlog:
Alright so from when we started the development of BonBon's to now we actual got a lot of systems set up within Godot.
We have a intro to the game which we'll show for a sneak peek sometime later next week. We have a main menu, options menu,
working options for the game like full screen, boarderless etc.
We also have a working sound system, my god when I tell you the shit we had to go through to get our sound system up and running is fucking idiotic. The amount of times my eardrums bled for trying to get the sound system to work is actually pretty funny.
We have a working visual novel system with dialogic. An addon that lets us be able to heavily implement the same systems as used in renpy without us having to kill ourselves trying to make a system like that from scratch.
We have the opening to our game with audio implemented and it's 100% working no issues.
We've also remade 3/5 of the girls designs and their redesigns will be posted on the Patreon soon.
Bonbons should already be up though.
The next steps:
The next steps we need to take for release in order is-
* Making the backbone for chapter one
( We are releasing the games in chapters, each chapter will contain a night and a day shift, the night shift is your FNAF gameplay with a lot of our own twists on it, while the dayshift will be something similar to a dayshift at Freddy's somewhat, still working it out.)
* Continuing writing from the opening of chapter one into the nightshift.
* 3d modeling our pizzeria and it's layout
* Coding the actual FNAF part of the night system
* Planning for the actual dayshift and what it entails
* Writing for the first dayshift
* Then encoding all of the shit into the game.
We're planning on having anywhere from 5-7 chapters. Depending on how we plan to space things out. Anyway I want you guys to know we are working and that this is something we always wanted to do. With the help of Mydumbname. He's aiding us in actually being able to do it so make sure to play the new updated five lustful nights game and give him his flowers.

I'll miss the old designs, and I'll probably still boot up the old build once in a while just cause I like it that much lol. I have faith in the new project too though
