My condolences about your aunt. I spent my Christmas traveling ten hours back and forth to pick up my grandmother so my mother and I could spend it with her. So yeah, driving.. But we enjoyed dinner together, fending off the rescue kittens my mom picked up, watching The Santa Clause and Home Alone movies, and gifting my grandmother the scooter she had been wanting since her wheelchair was falling apart.

One of my Uncle's passed away on Christmas Day. It's been rough. Please don't forget to take care of yourself and your mental health as well.

Crap that sucks to hear about what happened to your Aunt Aki. Well my birthday (Christmas Day) was good and New Years went well. Nothing too extravagant. Today admittedly has been rough mainly due to it being my late dad’s birthday. I get through it though I’m not in the best of spirits.
