I've thought about that, but until I have a full roster of 10 people on the suggestion tier, it doesn't seem fair to anyone who might want to pledge to that in the middle of the month.

Since the patreon seems to be settling into a stable two polls per month, have you considered holding both the polls simultaneously at the beginning of the month? You'd have a better idea about the goals for the month earlier on and it would presumably cut down on the crunch time at the end of the month so you have more than a few days to write the second story.
