Comic Art! Herb Breaks Through: Remastered Edition
🕑 Added 2019-09-29 12:01:00 +0000 UTCThe winner of our July poll, and the first comic to be selected by the community for restoration, Herb Breaks Through Remastered Edition is ready to soar like its namesake!
Here's what HBT is about:
Herb, a dangerous yet beautiful villain from the Ranma manga, cracks through time and space to enter the color (a.k.a. anime) world! But there's a kinky cost that comes with all this color, which forces the leader of the Musk Dynasty to call upon past enemies for some desperate- and oh so erotic- help!
Part Pleasantville, Part Dragon, and Totally Blazing Hot, Herb Breaks Through represented a new milestone achievement for veteran RHB artist GodofChaos. This comic, along with the recently remastered Kasumi's Secret, is cited by fans as the period he ascended to true godhood in the world of Ranma hentai!
Here's what has been enhanced:
- Remastered in the highest resolution possible based on the original production art!
- Rebuilt backgrounds of key locations including: Akane's room and Nabiki's room! Check out the "old vs new" background comparison images above (after the cover image) for an idea of how big the upgrade was!
- Text and TLC polish!
Here's where to find it:

If you get the chance, please post your thoughts about the book, especially the rebuilt backgrounds that SHADE worked so hard to bring up to today's standards!
Such remastered comic offerings will be rare for now, but with enough support we hope to one day offer these treats regularly!
