2025 Feb status update - "Yoga with Stepmom" & "The Lecture"

Since it's a short month and I was still working on the Good Neighbor scene for the first week, I was planning to just focus on finishing one big scene - "Yoga with Stepmom" for Feb. It's a scene about a fresh college graduate went to visit his young stepmom, and she was doing Yoga. So he started to fantasize. I will have this scene voiced as well!
That being said, I still want to release another scene before the Yoga one this month. But I won't have time to fully finish it with story, so it will be a short Freemode scene called "The Lecture". It's about a professor being seduced by a student (adult) in a lecture. This is a scene I drafted up last year and wanted to make it a full story scene, but I think it's better to release it as a freemode first so you guys get something to play with before the Yoga one is fully finished. If people like this theme, I will turn it into a full story scene in the future. I have too many unfinished scenes in my pipeline, some of them I don't even remember until I look through my WIP folder lol.
So estimated release time of those scenes:
The Lecture: 2/18 (after the president day)
Yoga with Stepmom: First week of March, finalizing the dialogue now, and will start working with voice actress on it.
Also, I'd like some feeback on what you guys think about adding voices to the scene. It's going to take me an additional 3-5 days to add voices to a scene. So do you guys think it's worth it or not? For now, I'm planning to do 1 voiced scene every month.

Always a huge advocate of voiced scenes! It brings a new level of immersion and it’s the solid line that separates the good from the great. I will gladly wait 3-5 extra days if it means every scene will come with the voiced feature, hope to see a lot more of them in the future!

Sound is the soul. There are too many silent scenes, which are repetitive and boring. Some AI software can be used for voice dubbing. Some sensitive languages are hard to match with real people

I think that well-done lyrics, such as in “KTV_NTR_audio_Story” or “Good Neighbor”, are very inspiring and a real enrichment of the scenes

我也剪辑了很多战斗声音，但要应用到战斗中确实是挺费功夫的，要慢慢挑选，但始终这些剪辑的声音还是不够“生动”。其实既然有配音演员，我觉得就应该用到刀刃上，用来配战斗，这样这个场景一下子就能“活”起来了。当然不是只配一些R-O-O-M的声音，而是ROOM的过程里穿插着一些应景的对话。 另外我最近摸索出timeline有个快速做出60+秒动作的方法，这样就不用把身体拆分为多个layer的数秒循环动作，而是可以整合在一起，再循环动作下有更多变化，更生动，再配合语音，一定超赞。以上只是我个人的想法和期待，不知道大家是不是也是这种想法和期待

战斗声音其实比较好处理，我有大量的战斗声音可以挑选编辑，只是一直没花很多时间在这上面。

配音非常赞，但我认为用错了方向，不应该配在剧情上，而是应该配在战斗上。配在剧情上一来拖长了节奏（大部分其实看文字更快，而且如果动作和语音不完全match的话，其实挺割裂的感觉），二来其实粉丝们最期待的还是想要更生动的战斗声音，而不是千篇一律的R-O-O-M。以上纯个人意见哈

还是场景代入感的情况，纯文字多了可以跳过知道大概就可以了，配音的话最好是短一点而且能更直接点（没有那么多心理描写），心理描写可以做成文字旁白。

我觉得文字会好很多，因为文字可以带入故事，也可以选择看或者不看，但是声音要关闭都得关闭。最好可以，选择关掉或者保留配音就完美了。

I personally am not a fan of voice acting in VAM scenes. Generally voice acting audio sounds unnatural to the rest of the audio in the scene itself. Sometimes I switch out female appearances as well, so voice acting doesn't necessarily make sense for the appearance being swapped in.
