You can see another 4 pages with the "new year comic", 2026 is the year of the Horse, so here comes a new Mare predator. The twins comic and the drones comic will be back the next month.
It's been an intense year of work, with the comics we have here, commissions, live streams, all the stress with the event I couldn't attend, but it's finally over. I won't deny it, right now I'm completely burned out and I need a good break. I've been dealing with something for several months now, if not a couple of years... I don't know...if call it "depression," but I doubt it qualifies as a technical term. Let's just say that I've been "burned out," demotivated, or on an emotional rollercoaster for a long time, which has made it hard for me to sit to draw. And that mental state is a huge handicap in a creative job. One of my friends has been insisting for a while that I should take a month or two of complete rest, saying that other artists do it and all that. However, it's not something I can really do, so I thought I'd "adapt" it and had prepared everything to clear my commission list this month (I could not do it in the end, 2 little commisions remains), work on the New Year's comic, finish before the 25th, and take three weeks until the 15th to rest at home, take care of some personal matters, do a major house cleaning (the crap piles up when you live alone), but in the endI got excited about Rose and Kitsune and a "simple" congratulatory drawing got out of hand, the 4 New Year's pages that were going to be simple have been especially detailed (because I got really into drawing mares XD) and I even went ahead with the illustration of Marina that wasn't planned... I'm my own worst enemy for sure XD, so I start my vacation tomorrow, the 1st, until the 15th, to see if I recharge my batteries and come back with enthusiasm and get rid of the mental and creative fatigue.

We appreciate all your hard work and Noah is right. Self care and mental health are not something to mess around with. Take care of yourself and when you feel the itch to draw again, we will be here. :)

Enjoy that reset time and have a Happy New Year! I look forward to how twins and rika and sora's story continues and the office eats itself out. lol. Downtime at regular scheduled intervals is definitely a welcomed thing we all can use outside what we regularly do and dedicate to. Self care and mental health always first and foremost for me.
