Weekly Update (PoW) - .027f BUGFIX Party Part 1 and Poll Results- 12/28/23
🕑 Added 2023-12-21 12:27:49 +0000 UTCThis update finishes most of the Rival's Wife interactions, including the opportunity to contract her, but the main lover route isn't finished yet (that'll be tomorrow).
EDIT (.026a): The Rival's Wife is now finished. Tomorrow will be the start of the dinner hub (the red link that people have been reporting as a bug). That will involve multiple events that you can move around and visit when it's finished , similar to the frat party in College Daze. Also, I discussed this on the discord channel but should also mention here that moving forward, the game will just have a male protagonist. It was too much trying to do both routes and simply wasn't worth the time investment. I apologize to anyone that was here strictly for that, but hopefully you can find other stuff in the game to enjoy anyway.
EDIT (.027a): Alright, the first part of the party is finally up! I apologize for the delay but you can now meet some new characters and (if a certain option is enabled and you're feeling daring) take things a step further with one of them. I also included a 'jump forward' button for now that lets you experience this new scene after the party and then teleport back to the party so you can easily check out the other stuff that's coming in the next few days. Thanks for being patient.
EDIT (.027b): A bugfix is out to address some issues with the introductions and to fix a missing clip during a previous scene with the rival's wife. You will need to go back to the start of the party for those characters to be introduced correctly. (Edit: .027e): Fixed the actual lewd encounter with Julia so that it properly runs now, but I strongly recommend you load a save from before their introductions to make sure everything works correctly, otherwise it might remain broken. (EDIT: .027f): More minor error fixes before the next content release with more character intros. You can also find December's Poll Results down below!

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
Step 1) If you need a clean install, download the .010a ALL FILES pack from this post.
Step 2) Unzip the all files pack to create your Power of Will folder. From now on, you'll extract future updates and place them in this same folder, overwriting the previous content to update it.
Step 2b) Next, grab .025a and merge those files with your .010a one.
Step 3) If necessary, download an update only pack like the one in this post.
Step 4) Unzip the update only pack and copy the contents of it.
Step 5) Paste these contents in your original 'all files' folder. Your computer will ask if you want to overwrite the existing HTML file. Click yes.
Step 6) If you did everything right, you should have an HTML file that you click to run the game and a fan-made Images folder that has folders from '010' to '025'. If you find an 'Images' folder inside your 'Images' folder, that means you pasted it incorrectly and need to re-copy and paste stuff.
Step 7) When you run the game, the images and text should display as normal. If they don't, send me a message and we can try to figure this out further.

Just a head's up, the next release will be out (featuring the mother-in-law and sister-in-law introductions, as well as a scene with the rival's mom and your wife) at some point over the weekend but it isn't quite ready yet.

Yep, when it asks what the political rival is, replace 'political rival' with any of the cheats you know from College Daze.

Just to let everyone know, the next update with the first half of the party will be up at some point later today. I was hoping to get it out earlier but it still needs some more time to finish writing some of the interactions.

If you're leading a country, you inherently take on masculine traits, or you end up dealing with coup attempts from more ruthless individuals than yourself. I, for one, have zero interest in playing a masculine female leader, so it doesn't effect me at all.

also good female pov games are surprisingly really really hard to make with ought having them feel like just a dude or a complete brain dead bimbo. its the reason why after a while you kinda just notice all those type of game protagonists feel the same

Most players are probably men like Zyrus said and a harem building game just doesn't work for me if the mc is a woman, imo. Maybe if the mc was a futa it could work.

Dissapointed in primarily making it a male mc focus, should have made it female mc for one game and keep the male mc for the othe for more variety.

Without knowing what was involved with doing both genders, I can safely say cutting that out is understandable. The vast majority of people who play these sort of games are men.
