[Interest Check] 'Study Group' KDrama?
🕑 Added 2025-01-28 06:05:06 +0000 UTCEDIT: Hey guys! Just updating on this.
I have not checked out the show yet but I decided to not do this one for now. Reason being is that the kdrama ‘My Dearest Nemesis’ starring Moon Ga-young (True Beauty) and Choi Hyun-wook (Weak Hero Class), is starting this month and that one is more up my alley and audience.
We also learned that Weak Hero Class 2 starring Park Jihoon, is airing on the second quarter of this year so since we loved the first season, we will be doing this one right after.
Squid Game S3 is in late June so of course we will be covering that as well.
Just a bit packed with kdramas now but it doesn’t mean I won’t cover Study Group in the future if it booms more in popularity.

This was suggested to me and I've been seeing it all over TikTok. Please LIKE this post if you want me to check it out and if you'd watch the reaction. If there's enough interest and I like it, I'll upload it. If not then I would just update this post and say it's a pass.

I haven't watched it yet but I'll watch your reactions if you decided to watch it later. Also I've heard that Matthew & Gunwook sang for the ost, which I also haven't heard it yet lmao😂 I'm going blind here too hahaha. Btw, not related to this but do you have any plans on watching Starlight Boys too after Universe League or perhaps Boys Planet 2? I'm curious on your take on the show as it's been a bit controversial for some of its eps. However, I do really like the trainees there and some of them you might know from Boys Planet and groups that have debuted before too. But no worries if you decided not to react to the show later Jeff👍

Hey Jeff! I'm totally on board with giving this a go! Your reactions are always a blast to watch, even if I'm not super into the content. I’m curious about your take on Study Group too—just watched the first couple of episodes and thought they were fun!😁

also unrelated but just wanted to let u know that SWF3 is coming out this year! know you had fun reacting to the previous ones — i believe this season will be represented by country :o
Christine Nguyen
I would say yes the main character is not one of the usual archetypes. but if you want to wait til episode 3/4 are out I could give you a firmer answer on that

Honestly, I'd much rather suggest Trauma Code.

I dont know if you know this but matthew & gunwook sang the ost for this, "backpacker"! Such a cool song, want to watch this drama too!
Christine Nguyen
I haven’t decided if I like it yet after the first episode, but it’s definitely not boring

I’ve been seeing it pop up too so I wouldn’t mind watching it with you! Plus it would be fun seeing your reaction to the main ost since it’s Gunwook and Matthew 🥰
seth james
yes after katseye pop star academy! i learned my lesson last time doing 2 survival shows at the same time haha it was cool but it was draininggg lol
Christine Nguyen
I literally just started that drama yesterday. Definitely one of the more quirky and unique premises/concept for a drama that I’ve seen in a while. The male lead character is very interesting. Can’t tell you why cause that would spoil things lol
jea
hiii! ik this is not related but will you be reacting to universe leagueee?
